You had gone for a walk near the docks and decided to look at the ships.
The cup didn't like you going near the docks..or anywhere by yourself but you know.. got to disobey him sometimes right? He'd never know.
You saw a really cool pirate ship.
"Woah"
You looked left and right but saw noone so climbed up the ropes onto the ship.
"Baby!"
You jumped and looked down at the docks.
How did he find you?
"Baby! Get Down From There It Ain't Safe! What Are Ya Even Doin Here?!"
He growled and pointed to the docks.
"Aww come on cuppy it's just a pirate ship it's not going to hurt me"
You knew he was mad but come on a pirate ship!?.
"Get Down Or I'm Commin Up And You Won't Like The Outcome Later!"
You gulped but built up the confidence
"Cuppy~ c-come on look how cool it is it's got anchors and ropes and Swords!"
The cup gasped.
"Don't Touch Those!" He started climbing up the rope but you had already reached out to touch a sword.
"Baby No!"
He pounced on you tackling you away from the pointy Swords.
"Not For You."
"Okay.."
"Let's Go.."
"Cuppy.."
He helped you up and pulled you back towards the side of the ship that would take you to the docks.
But when you both got to the side of the boat..the dock wasn't there..you were out at sea..the cup let go of your hand and bolted around the boat to check for sure.
"No No no no not again!"
Again?.
"Captin brineybeard are ya here? Hello?"
"You know this boats captain?"
"Me and mugsy got stuck out here once and this ships captain led us to the sea monster he's in love with but it didn't end well and she tried to eat us"
"..sea monster?"
"Yes! Sea monster!"
You frowned.
"I'm sorry..I know your mad.."
"This is exactly why I didn't want you near da docks! It ain't safe"
"Nowheres safe.."
"Exactly!"
You looked down and away from the cup.
"I'm sorry"
"Captian brineybeard?!"
A large pirate emerged from the captains quarters.
"Who be calling my name?"
"It's me it's cuphead! Look there's been a mistake ya need to take us back!"
"Us? Who's that lass?"
"My girlfriend!"
"So much for not having any mushy stuff on an adventure!"
The cup blushed but shook his head side to side.
"We weren't supposed to be here! Please ya gotta take us back!"
"No can do! We are already at the ship graveyard!"
"Gah! No no no no!"
The cup grabbed your hand and lead you to somewhere to hide.
"Your crazy!!"
The sea started to boil brineybeard stopped the boat and you suddenly understood..everything..a large mermaid women with snakes for hair surfaced and looked down at the ship like an insignificant ant.
Even though the cup was smaller then you.
You sat down and hid behind him.
He looked back at you then up at the sea monster.
"My sweet I have brought you lots of your favourite treats! And some pretty charms to put in your hair!"
Brineybeard declared.
"I wanna go home~"
You whined
"Should have thought at that before ya got on the boat baby"
He whispered back to you
"I didn't know we'd be face to face with a sea monster!"
"What did ya think would happen?"
"Normal pirate things? Sword fighting? Finding buried treasure?"
"In his case the sea monstah is his treasure"
"Elch..that was to cheesy even for you"
"But you are my buried treasah"
You blushed.
"Stop"..
"My pearl in the sea~"
"Cuppy-"
"Our love on day rocks~"
"Are you too done?"
You both looked up at the sea monster cala maria.
Brineybeard broke out of his stone curse.
"Come on my sweet!"
"No! Now leave i don't want your treats or I'll eat you and your crew!"
"Not even if they are all squid liver?"
She gasped she lowered her large mermaid body down to the level of the lovestruck clearly simp of a pirate..it made you look at the cup..he acted like that sometimes...
She stared for a few moments unsure of what to do but took both the boxes.
"Fine you may live....for now.."
She dove underwater but her tail wacked the sea and the waves from her tail wack pushed the boat so strongly it went all the way back to shore and nearly crashed Into the docks.
Cuphead scooped you up.
"Bye brineybeard!"
He put you down and helped you climb down Then climbed down scooped you back up and bolted you home.
Panting he put you down.
"You know I can walk?"
"Oh I know but after dat stunt! Disobeyin me..you won't be for long!"
He smirked and Unlocked your cottage.
"In ya go"
You gulped but walked inside only to feel a strong impact on your behind..
"Yiyie!"
