After the events of what happened at the shops the cup always invited you over..he knew you had a nasty habit of drinking cartons of F/J until you got the hiccups or get on a sugar high to distract yourself.
He was worried hence why he invited you over alot to keep an eye on you..little did he know today you made a change of plans.
You had bought some lollies from porkrinds with mugman a few hours before and were now in the cottage eating them in the brothers shared room.
The brothers were down stairs playing chess while elder kettle watered the garden so none of them knew you were inhaling the candy until you were nearly finished..
The cup had walked in..
"Hey baby do ya wanna have a round of chess with me and mugs i- Huuuu! Baby No!"
He bolted over and took the candy bag off of you.
"What have I told you bout eating to much candy"
You giggled and hiccuped.
"Not *hic* toooo~"
"Wait how much did you.....oh no.."
The cup looked in the bag and noticed it all gone..
"Baby ya ate all the candy!"
"Mmhmmm~*hic*"
"I'll get ya some watah stay 'ere don't move!"
You giggled with a nod and the cup bolted off ..you got up and twirled around you wanted to play hide and seek chasey! You looked around the room and hid.
The cup returned.
"Baby?..Baby!? Where did you go?!"
"You have to find meeee!~"
"Baby I ain't playin-"
"Then you won't find me!"
He sighed and face palmed.
"Alright alright sheesh but there ain't any point..I can see ya.."
"Where am I then?~"
"Ya right infront of me ya under my covahs"
You giggled.
"No i'm noooot~"
The cup walked over and took the blanket off placing the glass of water down next to the bed.
"Baby-"
you sat up and booped his little red nose.
"Tag!"
You bolted.
"Baby no! Not again!"
The cup ran after you.
Down the stairs..around the kitchen..around the living room..
"Let me guess..sugar high again?.."
Mugman asked
"Can yah help me stop 'er?"
The cup skidded around a corner chasing you just missing falling over.
You climbed up on the cupboards..played the piano and bounced on the couch swiftly missing the cup each time..
"Baby stop it!"
"You gotta tag me first~"
"Mugsy help!"
"I would love to brother but that wouldn't be fair she's had to stop you whenever you've had a sugar high..it's only fair.."
You were running for the front door
"mugsy please!"
"Fine.."
The mug got infront of the front door..you skidded to a stop..and the cup stopped behind you.
You were trapped.
"Why don't we stop thah game baby..you can come to bed and we can snuggle?"
The cup suggested.
"Nopey oopey dopey!~"
"Yes!.. you should go to bed and let the sugar high wear off"
"Nopey!~"
There was a gap..you might be able to squeeze through if you were quick enough..you needed to distract him first....
You turned to face the cup.
"You wanna go to bed and snuggle? Ya change ya mind?"
"Mm"
You hummed with a nod the cup took your hand and lead you away from the door.
You quickly slipped out of his grip and bolted.
"Baby!"
"Damn!"
"That's it you wanna play fine!"
The cup chased after you but this time he caught you.
"Tag!"
He bolted.
"Yaaaaay!"
You ran after the cup now..
Mugman rolled his eyes.
"Well hey she doesn't want to settle so we may as well play until the sugar high wears off!"
Mugman sighed.
"Alright..Hey Y/N! come get me~! nah nah nah nah nah!"
Mugman teased so you chased him.
After a few hours of playing back and forth Tag with the brothers and laughing heeps you found you started to run out of energy..
It was depleting..
You slowed down after getting chased by mugman.
"Tag hah your it!"
You hunched over and put your hands on your knees.
"Few..few.."
"You tired yet Y/N?"
"Had Enough yet baby?"
"No..no.."
You stood up straight.
"Nooooo~"
Like that you were out like a light.

CUPHEAD POV

Me and mugsy high fived.
"Thanks mugsy"
"No problem.. You taking her to bed?"
"Yeah"
"She'll be okay brother..she'll just need sometime to get over it..even then she won't be completely over it.."
"I just need to keep a bettah eye on 'er"
I looked at my baby asleep on the floor..and smiled..
"Then She'll will be okay.."
Mugman nodded.
"You know it wasn't your fault"
"She was scared..I left her..she got taken..she nearly got.."
My fists were clenched but I took a deep breath.
"How is it not my fault?..now she's drinking cartons of F/J and eatin bags of candy till she's got dah hiccups or on a sugar high..how is it not my fault?"
Mugman put his hands on my shoulder.
"Because you didn't know it was going to happen brother if you knew it was going to happen..would you have left her?.."
"No of course not!"
"Well?.."
I sighed and nodded..I looked at my sleeping baby..
"Thanks again for your help  mugsy..I'm gonna get her into bed.."
"Okay..just come get me if you need anything.."
I nodded and scooped Y/N up bridal style carrying her up the stairs to our shared room and into my bed.
I placed her down and tucked her under the blankets.
I kissed he forehead then her cheek.
"I love you baby.."
I went to grab a seat from down stairs so I could sit and keep an eye on her.. but she stirred..
"Cuppy.."
She groggily groaned..

YOUR POV

You stirred.. your tummy hurt..your head hurt..your heart hammered..you were really tired..
You saw the cup in the corner of your
E/C eyes..
"Cuppy.."
You groaned
He turned around and walked back over..
"Baby..hi.."
"I feel sick.."
"Whatdya expect yah ate a bag of candy.."
"Can you snuggle with me~?"
The cup smiled gently and nodded.
"Of course I can baby"
The cup climbed in bed with you and snuggled under the covers..you snuggled up to him..and promptly passed out again to his scent..
