It’s been a couple of months since everyone came back from Tenrou Island, and now, the Fairy Tail guild is hanging out in their small and rundown guild hall. They’re discussing the different ranks of the other guilds in Fairy Tail. “Who’s Sabertooth again?” Natsu asks. Romeo is quick to answer him, “They’re incredibly strong. Majorly. They surpassed Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale a while back so now they’re the strongest guild around.” Gray then speaks up, “I’ve never heard of them until our first day back.” Alzack speaks up next, “Because seven years ago, nobody had heard of them.” Gray continues, “Then what? They just started growing like crazy all of a sudden?” Max smiles frustrated, “It started once they got a new Master. After he took over, five incredibly strong wizards joined and that was all she wrote. There’s been rumors of them even getting another crazy strong wizard added to their guild, so now they’re even more powerful.” Lucy speaks up next, “Wow! Five new members made that much of a difference?” Natsu smirks, “Sounds like these guys have some serious guts!” Wendy smiles and innocently asks, “If they’re the number one guild in Fiore, does that mean Fairy Tail’s number two?” Happy flies over to her, giving her a questioning look, “Are you serious?” Carla then flies over to her also, “Wendy, would you take a look around you child?” Wendy looks confused, so Romeo clears it up for her, “We’re dead last.” Alzack and Bisca also join, “They call us wimpy fairies.” “You just had to ask didn’t you?” Wendy looks down guiltily, “Aw, I’m sorry.” Natsu smiles excitedly, “Wow! We’re in last place? That’s perfect! This is gonna be fun!!” Gray turns to him, “For who?” Natsu jumps down off of his high stool and says, “Just think about it Gray! It’s gonna be awesome clawing our way back up to the top all over again! I can’t wait!!” Gray and Lucy smile, “‘Course you can’t.” Gray says. Lucy laughs at Natsu’s antics. Romeo also smiles, “There’s just no keeping you down, is there? I’m fired up now!” Wendy joins in, “I am too! I can’t wait to show ‘em what we’ve got!” Cana then walks up to them, “Sorry to interrupt but have you guys seen Gildarts anywhere?” Gray smirks at her, “Aw, what’s the matter? Does wittle Cana start to get wonely whenever daddy’s not around?” He attempts to make fun of her but she says, “Gray!” He realizes his mistake and immediately turns to Lucy, “My bad!” She smiles at him, “It’s okay. Seriously, don’t worry about it!” Juvia creepily peeks around the corner of the request board and glares at Lucy, ‘Gray never considers MY feelings like that!!” She digs her nails into the board, cracking it terribly. She’s obviously jealous. Erza then walks into the guild hall, “Gildarts and Master Makarov just left. They’re going to visit the old guild hall.” Cana smiles happily and shouts, “Halle-freakin-lujah! I’m going on a job before he realizes I’m gone!” She runs out of the guild hall excitedly. Everyone smiles and laughs lightly at her excitement to get away from Gildarts.

Elsewhere in Fiore, Sting and Rogue are both sitting on a hill. More like Sting is sitting, and Rogue is standing. Sting speaks up, “It sure takes you back, doesn’t it? Last time we saw them, you came up to about here on Gajeel.” Sting holds up his hand to about three feet off the ground. Rogue doesn’t say anything. Sting continues, “Heh. You were a pretty big fan of his back then. I didn’t care for him. He was scary.” Rogue simply responds, “Stop bringing up the past, Sting. We chose to follow a different path than them.” A man suddenly runs up to them, holding a bow and some arrows, and wearing a weird yellow helmet. “I found you!” They both look at him, unbothered. He starts running at them, aiming an arrow at Rogue. “Take this!!!” He shouts as he shoots the arrow. Sting catches the arrow just before it hits Rogue’s head. The man looks at him in shock. Sting then starts to eat the arrow. The man looks at him, horrified. “HE’S EATING THE ARROW!! DON’T TELL ME IT’S HIM!!” Sting finishes eating the arrow and sends a White Dragon Roar at the man without saying a word, or standing up. The roar misses his head by a millimeter and he stands there, shaking, terrified. Sting stands up and smirks, “Aw dammit. Guess I’m out of practice. His head’s still there.” The man gets terrified and shouts, “I knew it! It really is you! The twin dragons of the Sabertooth guild in the flesh! White Dragon Sting! And Shadow Dragon Rogue!! The Dragon Slayer Duo!!!” The man starts to run away, terrified. “Hold up! Are you just gonna ditch your pals? That’s harsh man.” Sting hints to the members of the man's guild that the two of them defeated earlier. Before the man can get any further, a woman suddenly drops down from the air in front of him. He falls backwards to the ground, terrified. “The Arctic Dragon!!!” She smirks down at him, and flicks her fingers in his direction, sending an attack straight through his torso, killing him. Rogue and Sting smirk at her, and she continues, “Not a duo anymore. You forgot about me.” She walks up to Sting and Rogue smiling, and they all hear Lector and Froche’s voices, “Jeez, Sting! You don’t know when to hold back, do ya?” “Ribbit.” Sting smiles down at them, “Hey, it’s Lector and Frosch, I was wondering where you guys went.” Lector smirks, “Oh, you know, just doing some recon stuff. We thought we’d find the enemy before they ambushed us, but it looks like the three of you have already taken care of them, huh? Those guys got what they deserve for messing with awesome dragon slayers!” Frosch adorably smiles and says, “Yeah! You’re the bestest ever!” Sting smirks and high fives Lector, and Rogue picks up Frosch, hugging him. Candy smiles at their adorable interactions with their exceeds, and starts missing Rosie. Rogue smiles at Frosch and nods at him, and Frosch goes over to hug Candy, to which Candy eagerly accepts, smiling at him thankfully. The three of them start to walk away, Lector and Frosch walking next to them. Candy smiles as Sting presents the idea of finding out if he could actually beat Natsu easily, but Rogue just ignores him, saying, “I think I’ll pass.” Candy smiles, “Don’t worry guys. You’ll get your fights during the Grand Magic Games.” The two men give her a questioning look, “I thought Fairy Tail gave up participating in those games.” Candy laughs at Sting’s confusion, “Yeah, that’s because they had ZERO strong wizards. They’re not stupid. But now that everyone’s back, especially Natsu, they’re not going to hesitate to join the games this year. They’re too trigger happy to refuse a chance to fight for fun.” Sting and Rogue smile at her use of words for them. They know she still cares for Fairy Tail, however she’s not being emotional about it in the slightest. She’s joined Sabertooth, and she has a role to play, and that role is not giving a damn about anyone else other than her Sabertooth guildmates. She’s a better actor than they thought she would be. Rogue still remembers when they were helping her and suggested the idea to her;
