'I appreciate you.' Deeks randomly said one day.

Kensi stopped in her tracks.

'What?' She asked.

'I said I appreciate you.'

'Well, thanks! I appreciate you too. But may I ask, why are you telling me this now? Seems awfully random.'

'It is. But, I realized that we don't exactly do much appreciation of each other these days, and I decided that that should be changed. So, how about this: You, me, dinner at this fancy Italian place tonight?' Deeks asked.

'Does this sudden interest in romance have anything to do with 4 of our coworkers looking more romantic then us?' Kensi replied.

Muttering. 'How did she guess?!'

'It's fine, really! (chuckle). I've been thinking of asking you out to dinner for a while now anyways, just haven't had the time. Just hope we get off of work at a good time today then.'

'Great!'

Then he kissed her.

'Mmm. I missed that.' Kensi smiled.
