First Faith

Author's Note

Hey everyone!

So, I can't tell you how excited I am about this story. I've poured so much of myself and my emotions into it and I hope that it shows. I really truly love Paul and I wish Pokemon would do their characters justice and actually give them backstories where they become more than just characters, but actual people with hearts and souls like us, that cause us to feel. And that's what I aim for in my writing, and Paul was absolutely perfect to demonstrate that in this story. 

With that said, I do want to warn people who are easily offended that this is a Christian story. I'm Christian and I felt called to write this story about real life situations that people go through. Do you have to have the same opinions or beliefs as me? Of course not! Feel free to believe whatever you want. But just so no one can say that I was forcing anything upon them, I felt the need to write this author's note to let people know my intentions- to tell a story about Love that touches people's hearts. Not to offend people. Though truthfully, I have to say I don't care if a story that's rated PG and not vulgar about an 18 year old's faith journey offends you, then I'm not sorry for my actions, but I am sorry you feel that way.

Let's see, what else did I want to say... Oh! Also, if you ever have any questions about anything, please feel free to PM me. I'd love to talk to you. Don't feel intimidated or anything. I'm just Flips and I just happen to be a girl who writes a lot and loves people :) So nothing intimidating there. I'm not a Salamence or anything.

Yet again, I've had this idea for a very long time and I've put a lot of hard work into it. I know it's been a while since I wrote First Light, but I hope this was worth the wait to read. Thanks so much for reading anything on my profile, especially to those of you who have been fans for such a long time. I love you and I hope this story is as meaningful to you as it is to me.
