I then sat on my bed as I take my laptop from my desk and put it on my lap, I then open it and called my brother on Face Time, after a moment my brother then answered my call with a smile on his face

"Hey what's up little sis?"

"Hey Joseph" I say happily

We then made small conversation until I was finally decided to talk about Avery

"Hey, bro..?"

"Yes?"

I chewed on my lip as I looked around my room to make sure that she wasn't back yet

"Do you remember a family that Father were friends with? I think their name was the Kennedy Family?" I ask

His whole demeanor changed when he heard that name, his face went from happy to serious, to sad in an entire minute

"So, you don't remember?"

I looked at him confused

"Remember what?" I ask

My brother then looked around nervously before letting out a sigh

"Yeah, they they were friends of Dad, and they were also at his funeral, I guess that something happened to where you can't remember anything?" he said

I looked at him confused, is that why I can't remember anything from my childhood? But what happened to where I have repressed memories?

"But why are you asking these questions now?" Joseph asked

Blush then formed on my face as a smile subconsciously formed

"There is this women that I really like, and she has the same last name as them, so I wondered that if they were related or not..?"

He then had a teasing smirk on his face

"So, what's her name?"

"Avery Kennedy"

The smile on his face then disappeared as there was now a concerned look on his face

"Her name is 'Avery Kennedy'?" he repeated

I then nodded my head

"Yes, is there something wrong with that?" I ask

"Avery Kennedy is part of the Kennedy Mafia that runs the city that you are staying in, they disguise themselves as an entertainment industry while actually doing drug rings, murders, and illegal smuggling in the process" he said

My eyes widened as I tried to take in all of this information

"And that's not all" my brother continued "They also make money off of the entertainment industry, having connections with the government too, FBI to all parts of the Military, they are not a organization to mess with" he finished

I then gulped down the lump in my throat as I took in all of this new information, but there is still one thing that I don't get

"O-one last thing before you go.."

"Yeah, what's up?" he asked

"What does that have to do with me, and her?" I say quietly

He then looked at me before letting out a heavy sigh

"You and Avery was supposed to get married when you two was of age, and you two was supposed to be the bridge to bring our families together" he said

Wait--we were supposed to GET MARRIED?!?!
