Avery's Point Of View

I then put my cup down on the table as I looked over at the girl in front of me

"So, what do you do?" I ask

Riley then put her cup down and gave me a slight smile

"I go to university for my veterinary degree, but I currently work at the library when I have my days off" she said

"Oh, so you like animals then?"

She gave out a nod

"I do, especially cats" Riley say as she takes another sip of her hot chocolate

"So, what kind of cat do you like? Personally I like the Main coon"

"I really like the American short hair! They are so cute and small and fluffy!" Riley said happily

As she continued to talk about cats I had a smile on my face as I listened to her talk, a girl that is this adorable should be protected, after five minutes she finally realized that she took over the conversation

"I'm sorry about that" she said embarrassingly 

I gave out a smile as I waved my hand

"No you are fine, you just looked so cute talking about your interest that you were too cute to stop you" I say

Blush then formed on her face as she looked away from me, even when she's embarrassed she's still adorable, I sipped my coffee as she looked my way again

"That reminds me; what do you do?" she asked curiously

I looked over at her from the corner of my eye and put my drink back down on the table

"I actually have my own business after I graduated collage, my mother gave it to me for my 22nd birthday" I say

"You have your own company? That's pretty impressive" she said shocked

I nodded as I shrugged my shoulders, I then looked at my clock to see that my lunch was nearly over

"Well it seems that I have to go now" I say as I get down from my chair

"S-so soon?" she asked

She even stuttered, so cute..

I look over at her with a nod, Riley then jumped down from the chair with her drink in hand as she walked out the door with me, I then gave her the bag that had the cake pop in it

"For me?" she asked

I nodded

"I bought it without thinking, I don't like sweet stuff like that" I say

She then gotten the bag from me and started to walk off and back to my office, as I was walking I take out my phone which was recording the entire time that we were talking, I pressed pause and saved it to my phone, I then held it up to my lips as a smile spread around my face

"She smelled so good, and looked so small, so fragile, so adorable.."

"Who's adorable?" a voice asked

I looked over my shoulder to see Drake with bread hanging from his mouth and was holding a soda, I narrowed my eyes as I continued to walk to the building

"Tell me; who's adorable" he asked again

I put my phone in my pocket as I fixed my blazer which was on my arm

"Riley.." I say lowly

He then looked at me before a moment, he then blinked as he swallowed whatever food which was in his mouth
