Riley's Point of View

Avery gave me a smile, I looked away from her as I look away from her

"So, what is your name?" Drake said

I look towards to the two, Avery had the same smile on her face as Drake looked at me with a curious look on his face

"Oh, my name is Riley"

"That is such, a boyish name" Drake said jokingly

The table then shifted as Drake gave out a pained face as he clutched something under the table, I looked over at Avery again and saw that she had a scowl on her face, but when she looked back at me she had a smile on her face, she then leaned on the table

"Riley, how was the cake pop I got you?" Avery asked

 A smile formed on my face as I gave out a nod

"It was really good, but I liked the one that had chocolate in it you gave me yesterday more" 

"Oh? Should I get you more when we meet again?" she asked

I shake my hand

"You don't have to"

She then shook her head as the smile on her face grew wider

"I really don't mind, and I do go to that place basically every day since my office is close, plus, your work isn't as far as I thought" she said

She then tilted her head to the side slightly and gave a closed eye smile

"Plus, you looked absolutely adorable working today" 

Blush formed on my face as I looked away from the two, the waitress then came back with our drinks, she then slid the drink towards me I grab the glass with two hands and picked up a straw, and put it in the drink in front of me, I then took a sip of it as I gave out a satisfied look

"Do, you like it?" Avery asked

I nod my head

The waitress came back to take our orders

"Steak and potatoes for me!" Drake exclaimed

"Fries and shrimp pasta" Avery said

I looked down at the table as I fidgeted with my fingers before looking back up a the waitress

"Chicken tenders and fries"

She then gave out a nod as she took our orders and walked away from our table, I then hear Drake snicker before he let out a yelp of pain, I look over to see the same scowl on Avery's face and Drake had the same sour pained face than before

"Stupid, why are you making fun of her" Avery said

"It's not my fault that she has a boy's name" Drake said in pain

"Her name is gender neutral" she hissed

"Doesn't matter!" he exclaimed

"Damn it I will shove this foot up your ass if you don't stop"

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry" 

Avery then gave out a sigh as she looked back at me with a smile on her face

"I'm sorry about him, he's...unique"

I let out a smile

"Oh no it's fine, it's just amusing to see you two bicker like this" I say

Avery's eyes widened slightly as her cheeks was a couple of shades darker, her smile returned to her lips as she leaned over and grazed my fingers with hers, my face immediately felt warmer than before as I looked up at the women in front of me
