Avery's Point Of View

Riley looked up at me as I gave her a smile, she then looked down at the ground as she fidgeted with her sleeves

"If it's not too much of a hassle"

"Please you're not a hassle darling" I say

Her face then grew hotter as she lead me to where she walks to get on school grounds, and it was a very good collage, I guessing she's valedictorian at this school

As we walked in a rather comfortable silence from both of I my mind started to wander as I chewed on the inside of my lip, when should I give her the books, would she even like them? Tomorrow is Friday and she doesn't have any work that day or go to Saturday school

As I continued to be lost in thought I push the elevator door and it opened in the moment, we got in and she clicked on the button for the fifth floor, we then waited for a little while as I felt her look up at me, I pushed those thoughts to the back of my head as I looked down and gave her a smile of my own

I then went on my phone and started to scroll through what she might like, I then looked at apartment buildings close to my work or my home, I looked down to see the girl standing next to me had a big smile on her face which made me smile

Once the doors opened I started to walk out of the elevator when a person was in my way, and he was starting at Riley, I look down at her to see that her eyes were narrowed, something I hadn't seen from he before

"Long time no see, huh Riley?" he said

"What do you want from me Charles? You're dorm is on the other side of campus" Riley said with a sigh

"I was going to stop by and talk to you at your dorm.." he said as his gazed went over to me "But I guess you were, having other plans?" he asked

I tilted my head to the side as I gave him a glare, I then felt a small hand griping my blazer, I look from the corner of my eye to see Riley holding onto me, I then looked back at the man in front of me

"It seemed to me that this younger lady doesn't like your presence, if you could please leave then that would be a great help" I say politely

He then gave out a scoff

"I don't have to listen to a bitch in a suit" he spat

I then felt my eye twitch

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, that is so, who the fuck do you think you are messing with my girl?" he said as he took a step closer to me

I then moved away from Riley as I take off my cufflinks

"I really don't want to hit you in front of your women" I say with a glare in my eyes

Charles then stood in front of me, he was inches shorter than me and he was basically touching my chest with his, I looked down at him and he turned red with rage, before he could do anything he saw the murderous look in my eyes and he slowly backed away from me

I gave him a smile and he ran in the opposite direction, possibly near the stairs, I let out a sigh as I fixed up my suit and my hair before looking back at the women that was staring at me in awe

"Sorry about that"

"No you were fine, he was bothering me for the past week or so, I told him off but I guess he didn't give up" Riley said

I let out a nod as we walked to the end of the hallway to her door, she then put in her password; 2428, my head tilted to the bit sideways as I memorize her passcode, even though I already know it
