Oh, Achilles, warrior so strong
Fighting wars that drag so long
Singing sweetly war's dower song
Who could say your fight was wrong?

Oh, Alexander, leader so great
Battling against your predestined fate
Death should've held its tongue in wait
Who could say they Trump thy traits?

Oh, Odysseus, man so traveled
Gods Wrath, you had been saddled
Your tragic ships constantly rattled
Who could say they better battled?

Oh, Theseus, hero so brave
All of Greece, your name, they rave
All your glory they endless crave
Who could say they a greater path pave?

Oh, Caesar, Emperor so betrayed
Rome prospered with your glorious aid
Then, by your charges, mercilessly slayed
Who could say your name will fade?

Oh, Hercules, man so wild
Stronger than most as but a child
Driven mad, labored, then exiled
Who could say they a wilder life compiled?

Oh, Socrates, thinker so wise
Ponders all questions that in men arise
Tried to help fellow men to rise
Who could say you deserved to die?

Oh, Sun Tzu, General so smart
Ended battles before they start
Picked mechanics of men apart
Who could say they turned war to art?

Oh, Cleopatra, ruler so fair
Ruled over men, in times, so rare
Your great art made all people stare
Who could say your rule can't compare?

Oh, Atlas, Titan so apt
Upon your shoulders, the world is kept
For your crimes, your tears are wept
Who could say you aren't trapped?

All of these storied figures grand
Stories told across all lands
Feels so far but close in hand
The test of time your names shall stand
