Yn pov -

I stood frozen in my spot, unable to comprehend what was happening right before my eyes. My beloved Mochi, had transformed into a human. It was a sight that I thought only existed in fiction and in my wildest dreams. Doubt began to creep into my mind-am I seeing things? Am I losing my mind?

As the realization began to sink in, my mind raced back to a conversation I had with Taehyung. His words suddenly made sense now. Mochi was no ordinary cat; he was Jimin, the person Taehyung had been referring to all along. The pieces of the puzzle fell into place, but with each revelation, my heart sank deeper.

A forgotten memory flashed in my mind as my gaze fell upon Jimin. The realization hit me like a tidal wave-Jimin had never trusted me. All this time, he had been hiding his true self and his intentions from me. Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision as I watched Jimin's figure fade into the distance.

"I guess he doesn't need me anymore," Yn whispered, her voice filled with sadness and betrayal. She turned away and ran, desperate to escape the painful reality that had engulfed her.

Some time later, Yn found herself back in her apartment, surrounded by the ghosts of memories she had shared with Jimin. Despite knowing that he was no longer there, she couldn't help but search for him, as if he had become an integral part of her daily life without her realizing it.

"I think he became a habit, an addiction, without my knowledge," she mumbled, gazing into the room where Mochi used to play.

Yn laid down on her bed, closing her eyes in an attempt to find solace, but the void left by Jimin's absence only grew. The ache in her heart intensified with every passing moment, and she found herself yearning for his presence.

"Why am I like this?" Yn exclaimed, frustration dripping from her voice. "He didn't trust me or care about me, so why am I still consumed by thoughts of him?"

"But taehyung told me to protect him"

She tried to reason with herself, reminding herself of Taehyung's request to protect Jimin. But deep down, Her heart craved mochi's presence.

"Stop it, Yn," she scolded herself sternly, determination etched in her voice. "Stop thinking about him. He doesn't need you anymore."

But no matter how resolute she was in her words, her heart refused to follow suit. She couldn't ignore the longing that pulsed through her veins, the emptiness that yearned to be filled by mochi's familiar presence.

"I need him," Yn whispered, her voice laced with vulnerability. The realization struck her like a bolt of lightning. Despite everything, she couldn't deny the void he had left in her life.

The weight of her emotions began to suffocate her, the conflicting desires to push him away and to hold onto him clashing within her soul. Desperate for a distraction, Yn decided she needed to turn her focus elsewhere, to find something to occupy her thoughts and mend the broken pieces within her.

"I have to distract myself from him," Yn murmured, determined to redirect her attention.

In the depths of the hospital, I entered with a sense of purpose. As I made my way through the busy corridors, a nurse approached me with confusion written across her face.

"Doctor Lee, today was supposed to be your day off. What brings you here?" she inquired.

Without missing a beat, I responded, "I simply wanted to be in the hospital today. In case any patients require my assistance, please do not hesitate to call me. However, I am heading towards my auntie's room at the moment."

Leaving the nurse behind, I hurriedly made my way to my auntie's room. But, before I could even take a seat by her side, the sound of my name being called caught my attention. It must be something urgent, I thought, and swiftly stepped out of the room.
