The heart can be fooled
The mind always knows,
Yet still I smile,
And still, I glow

But no matter what changes,
The trials I may face
Everything keeps going
No matter the days

It's so hard
To find myself
Amidst the fear and agony
My heart endures
But yet, I remain
Strong as ever
And I'm still here,
Now and forever

Don't look for me in the sunset,
But look for me in the pouring rain
Look for me when you're lost
And succumbing to the pain
This world is cruel,
Violent and wild
Yet I've loved it so much
Since I was a mere child

Everything has a price
And everything has a time
A place for when it's okay
To let go
And to thrive

So even though it's hard
And even though you may feel weak
Just know that I'm there,
Whenever you need
