love. laugh. die.

Breaking me into pieces
Shards of glass that glitter and glow
Break me into nothing
Infinitesimal scraps of existence
I love you so much
I'd tear myself apart for you
I love you
And I'd live for you
As dying's the easy part, I suppose

Repair me from the ground up
Piece me back together again
I am a piece of you
I laugh for you
I'd tell you the truth
Of how I feel about you
I'd laugh for you
And show the world your smile
I'd cross thousands of miles
Just to laugh for you

But then you broke my trust
Fractured my love, turned to lust
Life was good until you shattered me
Don't you see?
Why can't you just set me free

We all die in the end
We turn to ash and dust
And we die no matter what happens
I feel myself fall
Breaking in half like the porcelain doll
The doll you crafted me into
Dressed me up and made me look pretty

But I didn't mind
Because I thought I loved you
You just used me
And now I see
Just how pure you thought you were
But you won't ever be that way for me
