They like to say how different we are
How strange we are
They like to mock us and say
We are all the same
But no matter what the people say

Nothing can change the way
I feel about you

You're the reason I smile
The reason I laugh
Through the pain and the tears

And the world is laid to rest

You are the paint
And I am the canvas
You are the relief to my pain
The air in my lungs
The happiness I feel
When all is said and done

Echo in my mind
