I glanced at the sastun above my head, enjoying the view for a moment.

It made me wonder if everything was well in Wakanda and with Shuri. Her everyday life had been hectic ever since she became queen and much more so when she launched a new program; Several medical centers were opened throughout Africa and the West to treat cancer. It was all thanks to Adam since his arrest raised questions worldwide.

Little T'Challa was crowned prince soon after and baby B'alam eventually found his place. The land and the sea would need a protector and B'alam would be the bridge between the two. The one who keeps the peace.

Despite what the elders thought, Shuri and Namor couldn't marry, for their bond wasn't steady. She had to rule the land and he the waters.

My Na' passed away six months after she was freed from the tank. Her cancer was too advanced for any cure. Nevertheless, my days with her were the happiest of my life and for that I am thankful.

She inspired me to care for the oceans. To be strong and accept the world as is; with its differences and similarities, for there are no divisions, but beautiful distinctions.

Na' always wished I would become a princess like the stories she enjoyed. Perhaps I wasn't a princess by blood, but I believe I fulfilled part of her wish.

"Oh, Queen. I am seeking wisdom."

One of our subjects said which brought me back to reality. There was a long line of people with questions or 'difficult' cases to discuss. Whenever the elders couldn't come up with a conclusion, they would come to me for a final word.

Being queen of Talokan is no easy task and much less when my husband isn't home.

"Go on. What is it that you wish to know?"

"There is a woman I am very much in love with, but she is too busy with her job. She keeps on pushing me away."

I rested my head on the back of the throne, slowly tapping my thigh as I listened. Some questions were trivial matters, but since it was the first time there has been a queen, people sought wisdom regarding love and other related issues.

Of course. Namor couldn't have possibly helped them regarding these matters. He's totally oblivious!

"Tell me more about her."

"She's a fine warrior, and I believe she likes me back, but I simply cannot find a way through her stubbornness."

The commander by my side, Attuma, laughed.

"Brother, I seem to have an answer for you," he replied with a grin, then looked at me and bowed his head, "Queen Jaguar, may I help this man on his quest to conquer the love of his life? I have experience on such matters."

"Yes, go ahead."

If anyone has experience in dealing with warrior women, then that's Attuma.

Okoye declined his marriage proposal for now, but something in me tells me she won't say no for too long.

By the end of the day, I end up on the beach of Uaymitun Yucatan.

My casita sits on the exact same spot, with the exact welcoming sensation coming out from it.

The breeze kisses my skin as I take slow steps above the tiny hill and then into the casita.

The wooden floors have sand all over, and a tiny crab is crawling around.

I take off my beaded dress and necklaces, then set those on the table. I grab the broom and begin to clean the house.
