Bilbo celebrated his 111th birthday! It was a very respectable age for a hobbit, and deserved to be celebrated. I went to the Shire to be part of the celebrations.

I rode out on my horse in my more human form. In Hobbiton, they could get by with a wizard, let alone an elf on a winged horse. Still, I caused a stir, as many unfamiliar faces did not appear among the hobbits, and unlike Gandalf, I was not a regular visitor.

Feon reached the familiar door, which I knocked on. Bilbo pretended he wasn't home, but he didn't escape my ears.

"I know you're there," I spoke.

The door was opened by the heroic Bilbo Baggins.

"Eruwen," he spoke and hugged me, "Would you like some tea or wine? Or something to eat?"

"I can never pass up a good wine."

This was the beginning of another great adventure.
