Sohini:

I inform mom before going to school. "So, i invited Jason this evening. Is it okay?". Dad is sitting on his chair reading newspaper and drinking tea. Both of their face lightens up.

"Why didn't you tell me that? Oh god. I need to prepare many things", mom panics in excitement. They don't get excited when I do something good.

"So, I'm finally going to see the boy who stole my daughter away", dad says teasingly. Ew. It's all MAJBOORI.

JASON DIDN'T COME TO SCHOOL. Whyyyyy?

"Seba, why Jason didn't come to school today? Did anything happen?", I ask to Sebastian who was chilling with a girl. She looks at me as she leaves.

"Bro is preparing to be more pretty all the day. He said he needed to go to your house this evening. He can't let the school air touch his pretty face".

I laugh along with Sebastian. "Your friend is such a weirdo I swear!". "By the way, who's that girl with you?", I smirk at him. He rolls his eyes as he rubs his temples.

"Trouble. Forget it. Nothing like that. She just proposed me that's it-", he looks up as I see his expression changing slowly. I turn back to see Sinjini entering into our classroom.

I kick Sebastian secretly as he curses underneath his breathe. I look at Sinjini. She doesn't smile. "What you doing?".

"Uh, nothing just talking with this idiot who just rejected a pretty girl. Anything happened?".

"Not really. Are you free this evening?".

"No actually Jason will come to my house. So, tomorrow maybe?".

"Cool. Atleast your boyfriend is meeting with your parents and not hanging out with girls and reject them", Sinjini eyes Sebastian as she leaves. His mouth is opened widely.

"What the fuck did she just say? Was it meant for me?", He asks, being flabbergasted.

"Yeah. I think so".

"Soha, why you told that?".

"Shut up. Why do you even care about Sinjini ha?", I nudge him making him more annoyed. He pushes me lightly.

"Shut up!".

"So, where's your boyfriend?", Brother asks while we're waiting infront of our door waiting it to get opened. I shrug at him. But then the bell rings and I hurriedly open the door.

He enters wearing an off-white hoodie and Brooklyn written on it in green and a black coloured trousers. I try to smile. He hands me a flower bouquet which he was holding and hands my brother a box of sweet. He lightly pats his back.
