Chapter 3: Great War

"Please, leave me", Jake requests with a cool manner.

"Not until you reply to my questions"

"What is it?"

"You're the admin of the group. Do you know the person who spread the rumours about me in the group chat?".

"I'm sorry but I don't know where my phone is. I don't really stay on my phone-"

"Hey you, idiot! Say it quickly, otherwise it'll be bad for you", Tessa says rolling her sleeves.

"Tessa! I'm talking right? Calm down". I turn my gaze at Jake again who's still flabbergasted. "So yeah, what we talking about?"

"First, unleash me girl, I'm- I'm fucking sweating".

I notice that I'm still grabbing his collar. I let him go quickly as we both clear our throat.

"Uhm, let's not talk here? I feel really suffocated around people".

Obviously there are lot of students, cause we are in the hallway. Tessa and me, we both nod as we follow Jake. I don't know wherever he's taking us to. I'm walking with Tessa who's frowning and there's Jake walking in front of us.

Never seen such a hidden place in Westminster School till now. This is the unknown backyard of our extensive school. The walls are made of bricks as there are green moss on the wall and different types of ivies and Virginia Creepers. I'm fascinated by the sight and the atmosphere of this place or this corner is really so soothing she pleasing. There is a large archway and after that it's a beautiful abandoned garden which maybe none of the students know.

Tessa is still roaming around the place like a little kid and Jake leans over the archway, shoving both of his hands into his pockets.

"So, how's the place?"

"Beautiful", Tessa and me reply amusingly at the same time.

"Don't dare to tell anyone about this place. Place".

"Chill, we won't-"

"Hey! Just spit out what you know! We're not here to see your hidden corners-"

"Tessa!"

"Huh. If you have any problem, you can leave. I don't tolerate arrogant people".

"What-"

"Okay, you both stop. Jake, I'm so sorry please just cooperate. She's like that only. Don't mind her. Please tell us who's that person?"

"I really don't know. I've made this group before the lockdown and I don't even know anything. I don't even open the group chats but I heard the rumours flying around the whole school about you. The classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, every places is filled with toxicity, so I chose this corners".

"We don't care. I don't know why we are wasting our time talking with him? He knows everything. He looks like a poor beggar-"

"Tessaaaa!", I shout to make her stop. Fuck my life. "Tess, please!", I whisper to her as she rolls her eyes.
