It has been tiresome to be in the same palace along with the Emperor and the new Empress. They are exasperating and simply have gone mad, the Emperor has been watching me like a hawk, it felt like I'm caged by him.
As for the Empress, she has gone mad, she cut the tongue of a sweet maid, by the name of Delice, I've met her once or twice, she was a very sweet young lady and many of the staff here love Delice, yet the Empress claims that Delice tried to harm her. But she didn't even seem injured, yet had Delice's tongue cut off without evidence of her committing a crime.
I knew she would abuse her power as soon as she gains it, she has also been claiming that I'm trying to seduce the Emperor and made a small rumor of it, from him constantly visiting me during his free time.
It would be nice if she realizes that interest in him, is not of that sort, but again she isn't the brightest, so I doubt there's no way to reason with her without her trying to gain something from it.
