Ashton's POV

Luke and I ignored the glares from Michael as we sat down with our hands intertwined at the lunch table. Calum smiled at us.

"You guys are too cute," he said.

Michael rolled his eyes and angrily stabbed his fork in his salad.

"I'm going to go sit somewhere else," he said.

There was nowhere else to sit so he ended up sitting by the trash can. I felt really bad.

"I'll talk to him later," Luke said.

Luke's POV

I caught up to Michael on the walk home and said, "Hey."

"Fuck off, Hemmings."

"Michael, can't we sort things out and be friends again?"

"Luke, you were leading me on!" he snapped, stopping in his tracks.

"I-I... Michael, I'm sorry. Please, tell me how to make it up to you."

He sighed, and said, "I miss when things were normal. So we can move on, but that doesn't mean I forgive you completely."

He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"I love ya, Luke."

"You too, bro."
