Jungkook and Taehyung had been together for three years before they broke up. They had a messy breakup, filled with yelling and tears, and ever since then, they had been avoiding each other like the plague.

But life goes on, and eventually, they both found new partners. Jungkook had been dating his girlfriend for a year now, and Taehyung had been with his boyfriend for six months.

One evening, the two couples bumped into each other at a bar. Jungkook and Taehyung glared at each other from across the room, but they tried their best to ignore each other and focus on their own relationships.

However, as the night went on, Taehyung had a little too much to drink. He stumbled and nearly fell, but his boyfriend caught him and held him steady.

Jungkook couldn't help but notice how Taehyung was leaning on his boyfriend, and he saw an opportunity. He walked over to them and said, "Let me help you with him."

Taehyung's boyfriend hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded. Jungkook put his arm around Taehyung's waist and led him to a quiet corner of the bar.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung slurred, pushing Jungkook away.

"I'm helping you," Jungkook replied, trying to keep his voice calm.

"I don't need your help," Taehyung snapped, but his words were slurred and unsteady.

"You're drunk, Tae," Jungkook said softly. "Let me take you home."

Taehyung glared at him for a moment before finally nodding. Jungkook helped him out of the bar and into a taxi, and they rode in silence to Taehyung's apartment.

When they arrived, Jungkook helped Taehyung upstairs and into his bedroom. Taehyung collapsed onto the bed, and Jungkook sat down next to him.

"You hate me, don't you?" Jungkook asked quietly.

Taehyung didn't answer at first, but then he said, "I don't know. Maybe."

"I'm sorry," Jungkook said, looking down at his hands. "I was a jerk."

Taehyung didn't say anything, but then he reached out and took Jungkook's hand. They looked at each other for a long moment before leaning in and kissing.

It was like fireworks exploded in their minds as they kissed. It felt like no time had passed since they were last together, even though it had been years.

They pulled away, both breathing heavily.

"I still love you, Tae," Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Taehyung looked at him, his eyes filled with emotion. "I love you too, Kookie," he said.

They kissed again, this time with more passion and urgency. They knew what they were doing was wrong, but they couldn't help themselves. They had always had a strong connection, and it was impossible to ignore.

The next morning, Jungkook woke up to an empty bed. He sat up, rubbing his eyes, and saw a note on the bedside table.

"I had to go to work early," the note read. "We need to talk."

Jungkook's heart sank. He knew what was coming. They couldn't just pick up where they left off. Taehyung had a boyfriend, and Jungkook had a girlfriend.

But as much as he tried to push the thought out of his mind, he knew he couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung. He couldn't ignore the feelings that had been reawakened the night before.

They met up later that day, and Taehyung broke up with his boyfriend. Jungkook did the same with his girlfriend. They decided to give their relationship another try, but this time they promised to communicate better and work through their issues.

It wasn't easy, but they were both committed to making it work. They talked through their problems and opened up to each other in a way they never had before. They fell in love all over again, and this time, they were determined to make it last.

Years later, as they stood at the altar, exchanging vows and rings, they looked at each other and knew that they had made the right choice. They had found their way back to each other, and this time, they knew it was forever.
