"Y-you should have told me sooner! I wouldn't have to think twice about buying that wagyu"
She faulted me and kind of slammed the table.

But she was careful as she didn't want to attract any attention.

"Wow so you don't feel bad anymore?"
I rested the weight of my body on my forearms and looked at her.

"Why should I care when that card has no limit?"
She rolled her eyes at me and looked away.

"Well then you wouldn't care if we were a couple either~"
I turned and looked out the window, folding my arms.

"WHAT?"
She exclaimed and I could feel her glaring at me.

"So you care now huh? And please lower your voice. I think you disrupted the conversations around us"
I looked at her, grinning, and sure enough, she was shooting lasers out of her eyes.

"You should be grateful we're in public. I would've ripped your hair off by now"
She taunted.

I raised my hand to call the waitress. She came over with a notepad and a pen.

"Yes, may I take your order?"
She asked politely.

"Yes we'll have one wagyu beef, a bowl of udon noodles, a side of tempura and two ice waters please"
I listed everything.

I looked up at the waitress but she was just staring at me. I tried waving my hand in front of her face. I realised I haven't worn my cap.

I was about to say something but someone cut me off.

"Lady, if you're just going to admire my boyfriend and not take our order, You can go do that from a distance and have someone else take it down"
Suyeon said sassily which made the waitress snap back to reality.

"I'm so sorry, my bad. Could you repeat your order?"
Her cheeks were flushed in embarrassment.

"Wagyu beef, udon noodles, tempura and two ice waters"
I quickly said and she wrote it down.

The waitress bowed and apologised again before taking out menus and leaving.

"You changed your mind that fast? I'm your boyfriend now?"
I teased her.

"Look, I only said that so I could get my wagyu beef. Not because I want you, so don't get too excited"
She clarified.

"Mhm, sure you did"
I said to agitate her. It worked, as usual.

"Tsk. You're so damn annoying."

Suyeon's pov

I came up with an idea to irritate him back.

"I would choose Heeseung over you although I don't know him at all"
I said and I could see his expression change. Into a smirk?

"Aww, look at Choi trying to make me jealous just because I merely pushed her buttons"
He came closer to me and pushed a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

My cheeks were burning. I pushed his hand away and he just chuckled. Why do you make me feel this way, Park Jong Seong?

"Stop calling me by my last name. Or I'll give you a nickname too"
I tried to threaten him.

"Really? Let me hear it"
He put a hand behind his ear.

"Well um...Jjonghuahua. Because you're so darn feisty"
I just said anything that came to my mind.

"Ain't no way you're call me by that openly"
He laughed at me.

"You got me there"
I said, defeated.

"It's cute though..."
He muttered to himself.

"Hmm? Cute? You think it's-"
I tried confronting him but a waiter came and served our food.

"Here's your meal. Enjoy your date"
The waiter said and set down the food and drinks on our table.

Why do people keep mistaking us for a couple?

We thanked him and picked up our utensils. The food was mouth-watering and I haven't even tried it.

"Thanks Jay. I've been craving this for so long"
I smiled at him.

"No. Thank you, Suyeon. You deserve it"
He put a hand over mine which was holding onto the fork.

He soon let go of it and I cut into the wagyu.

His hand was warm.

The steak tasted like heaven. It melted right when it entered my mouth.

It was juicy and flavourful. The sauce was the cherry on top. Definitely worth the money.

"It's so good, you have to try it. Do you want a bite?"
I cut him a piece and poked it.

I held out the fork near his mouth, waiting for him to bite off the piece of meat. He stared at the meat and then stared at me.

"What are you waiting for? Just bite it off"
I told him, impatiently. Them I realised why he stopped. I was "feeding" him.

"Come on Jjonghuahua. Aaaa~"
I said opening my mouth slightly and put my hand under the piece of meat, like a mother would do to her son.

"You drive me crazy, Choi"
He said and swallowed the piece of meat.

He chewed it and looked pleasantly surprised. Only now I realised his jawline. It's L-shaped and so sharp.

"You have a nice jawline"
I complimented him then ate another piece of the wagyu.

"I know. It's my favourite feature of myself"
He said proudly.

"Arrogant much"
I side-eyed him while he happily slurped on his udon noodles.

Jay turned to me and then stifled a laugh. I gave him a blank stare. He suddenly used his thumb to wipe the corner of my lips.

Sh*t, I had sauce on my face.

"You're so messy"
He wiped his thumb with a tissue and continued eating.

He suddenly picked up a piece of tempura and put it on my plate. He remained silent and resumed eating his meal.

That's sweet.

I quietly took the piece and ate it. It was crispy and tender.

Our tummies were satisfied after finishing our meals. He walked to the counter and handed the worker his black card.

I could tell he was trying to keep a calm composure. Its not everyday you get to see a black card.

"Let's go back to the hotel, I'm tired"
I said to him and he agreed. We started walking towards the exit of the mall.

"So what were you saying just now? My nickname for you was cute?"
I teased him.

"No. Your mind is messing with you"
He defended and continued looking straight ahead. I giggled.

"But you look cute when you're lying"
I booped the tip of his nose which made him stop in his tracks and face me.

"Shut up, Choi"
I guess he doesn't like being called that.

"Make me"
I took a step closer to him.

He was looking down at me, completely unaffected by what I said.

Suddenly, he put one hand on my shoulder, pulled me closer and whispered into my ear.

"Make you? Too bad, I don't waste my time on people who play these immature games with me"
I felt his lips brush against the shell of my ear and it made my heart race.

He pulled away and continued walking, leaving me stunned.

He's something else...
