XLV. How To Continue Your Ol' Books

A lot of budding writers have this habit of publishing a rough draft and later unpublish them as they have run out of ideas. They soon start working on another book which they could not bring themselves to finish for a long time.
It's an endless cycle. It would take you months or years before actually publishing a complete story. I know that others have talked about this before but I want to share my take on this topic.

For starters, you could at least focus on one book to avoid burnouts. Having to work on two or three fictions at the same time can be confusing. You don't want to end up writing a plotline that's meant for your first entry but instead put it in another one. Yikes!
I know some people can multitask and write multiple books at the same time. That is, if each come from various genres. But hey! On a serious note, I've gotta give credit and admit that's awesome *fist bump* 👊🏻.
My advice is to remind yourself of what actually pushed you to write that one book. Was it a vent piece? A love letter to someone you admire? It's also normal to feel like that supposedly best work yet may not be that great. Without going through that "cringey" phase and publishing mistakes, how can you become a good writer?
