Moonlight Academy: School of Magic

Chapter 3

"Magic?", tanong ko sa kanila.

"Well you are going to know it since you are going to study here", sabi ni mom.

"But mom magic don't exist", sabi ko.

"It depends on you", sabi lamang nito.

"So Francine mananatili ka muna dito at bukas magsisimula na ang klase", sabi ni headmaster

"Anak this school is a boarding school so you are going to stay here until you graduated", sabi ni dad.

"Aw okay", sabi ko.

"Huwag ka sanang magugulat sa makikita at malalaman mo dito ha", sabi ni dad.

"And always take good care of yourself", saad naman ni mom.

"We are leaving now so please try to make friends okay", dagdag pa nito.

"Okay mom and also both of you be careful", sabi ko.

"And I will try to make friends here", dagdag ko pa.

"So goodbye for now my dear daughter", sabi ni dad.

"Bye mom bye dad I am going to miss the both of you", sabi ko at niyakap sila.

Lumabas na sila ng office kaya hinarap ko ang headmaster. Nakita ko na may kinuha siyang papel at susi at binigay ito sa akin.

"This will be your class schedule and this is the key of your room", sabi nito at binigay sa akin.

"And by the way you have a roommate", dagdag pa nito.

"Thank you", sabi ko nalang.

"Oh before I forgot you don't have to worry about the payment in this school because all you need was free", saad nito.

"Thank you and I'll get going now", sabi ko.

Lalabas na sana ako ng may sinabi pa ito kaya napatigil ako.

"Welcome to Moonlight Academy the school of magic", sabi nito kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

"School of magic?", tanong ko.

"Yes so please don't be scared of what you see in the upcoming days of your stay here", sabi nito.

Wala na akong masabi kaya lumabas na ako ng office niya. Hinahanap ko ang dorm pero mukhang naliligaw na yata ako. Marami ring mga estudyante akong nakikita at lahat sila ay nakatingin sa akin.

"Looks like she's new here", sabi ng isa.

"She looks like a nerd", sabi naman ng isa.

"And look weak", dagdag pa ng isa.

Marami pa silang sinasabi tungkol sa akin pero hinayaan ko lang ito. I look at every sign to know kung nasaan na ako pero mukhang malayo ata ako sa dorms. I want to ask the students pero mukhang nambubully rin sila kaya huwag na lang. I continue on looking for the dorms when somebody bumped into me kaya natumba ako. Ang tigas naman ata nun ano ba yun pader. I look up to see who it is only to find that its a guy.

"Done examining my face?", tanong nito.

Tsk kala niya ang gwapo niya. Umalis ito at ang gago hindi man lang nagpaumanhin sa ginawa niya. Tumayo na ako at nagpatuloy sa paghahanap kung nasaan ang dorms. I'm really lost kasi nandito na ako sa garden nakarating. Saan na ba yung dorms na iyon.

"Hey are you new here?", tanong ng isang babae.

"Uh yes", sabi ko.

"And I'm kinda lost", dagdag ko.

"Well where are you heading?", tanong nito.

"Dorms", saad ko.

"Oh so you are my roommate?", she asked joyfully.

She took the paper that I was holding and read it.

"So we are roommates and at the same time classmates", sabi nito at hinila ako.

"Uhm the papers can you give it back because my schedules was there", sabi ko.

"Oh sorry I was just exited", sabi nito at ibinalik sa akin ang papel ko.

"You know what I have been wanting to have a roommate to be my friend here and now you're here in front of me", she said.

"Why? You don't have any friends?", I asked.

"No I don't have one kasi hindi ko naman nagustuhan mga ugali nila ehh", sabi nito.

Nakarating kami sa harap ng isang building na kulay puti ang pintura. Mataas ito at aabot ng 10th floor kaya baka ito na ang dorm na hinahanap ko kanina pa. She pull me in kaya sumunod na lang ako sa kanya since she said that she is my roommate. Our room is located at the fifth floor and I was thankful because it has an elevator. Ng makarating kami ay pumunta siya sa isang room at pumasok at sumunod na rin ako. The room was beautiful and its colour is light brown and white. She pointed the door next to the balcony at sabi niya yun daw ang kwarto ko. The room was simple and its colour was nude. I like it and I decided to arranged my things and after that get some food since I am already hungry at dumidilim na sa labas.

After I finish arranging my things ay lumabas ako at nakita ko siya na nanonood ng palabas sa sala. I went near her to ask if she already had dinner.

"Have you eaten already?", I asked

"No not yet and I was waiting for you", she said.

"Then are we going to cook here?", tanong ko.

"No since you just came I am going to show the cafeteria", sabi  ito kaya tumango na lamang ako.

Lumabas na kami ng dorm at lahat ng building na madadaan namin ay pinapaalam niya sa akin kung ano ito para sa susunod hindi na ako maligaw kapag ako lang mag-isa. I keep in my mind every information she said about this school. We finally arrived at the cafeteria and looks like there are many students inside. She said she is going to get food for the both of us and told me to look for empty seats. May nakita akong bakanteng upuan malapit sa bintana kaya yun ang pinili ko at hinintay na lamang siya doon. After a minute ay dumating na siya at may dalang pagkain. Nilatag niya ito sa mesa kaya nagsimula na kaming kumain.

After we finished eating we go back to our dorms to get rest since tomorrow we will have class. I'm excited but I feel my life will change since I am going to have a friend. Even if we just met I know that she will a good friend which I can trust. Ng makarating kami ay nanatili kami sa sala para magkwentuhan.

"Well kanina pa tayo nagkita but I still don't know your name", sabi nito.

"I'm Keira Amelie Fox by the way and I can manipulate energy like if you need some I can give and I can also took some energy of my enemies", sabi nito.

"But how can you do it?", tanong ko.

"Simple I can do it because that is my magic", sabi nito.

"Oh", saad ko.

"Then I'm Francine Kate Forrestein and I don't think I have that kind of magic you're saying", pakilala ko.
