Aaryaveer's POV

"What? Are you sure, my Queen that you are not lunatic?" I couldn't help laughing as I rode my horse besides her.. though we managed to maintain a reasonable speed as we follow our army, for the first time in my life I had striked a banter with my wife.... And trust me it was beautiful. I was seeing a new side of the same person.

"I am not lunatic. That's true. I can ride a horse sitting in reverse." Her delicate body shook with laughter and at one point I was scared if she would fall off from the horse.

"I never knew you had this "foreign talent." I couldn't suppress my laughter.

"Oh... you don't know many things about me, Veer!" She smiled sweetly as she grabbed the reins of the horse...

"Wait! What did you say?" I asked her.

"What? I just said that you don't know many things about me." She repeated. Wondering if I had failed to hear something.

"And?" I asked.

"And?" She was still clueless.

"And call me..." I tried to remind her of something. Suddenly she blushed.

"Actually I..." she tried to speak up but I could clearly feel her face heated despite of her wearing her veil.

"Yes... speak my name." I ordered her.

"I... I can't." She turned quiet.

"You call me Veer in your head... why not on my face? Come on jt." Said as I halted my horse, grabbed the reins of hers and then held her hand.

"Ummmm Aaryaveer.." she spoke up, after a few minutes of giving me an intense eye contact.

"Nope. I would like to hear my nickname. The one you have created so lovingly for me." I asked her. I was thrilled to know that my wife had a nickname for me.

"Unmmmm Veer?" She spoke up softly.

"Hmmm?" I said as my lips grazed the back of her hand. She looked down closed her eyes to enjoy the sensation. It went on for quiet sometime as my lips continued to lick her fingers.

"Let's join the others. They will... they will wonder why we are so slow." She spoke with a shiver in her voice.

I wanted to dismount her from her horse, and make love to her right there and then. I was going through a deadly combination of love and lust. Our lovemaking was delayed last night.

"Okay." I said as I let go of her horse's reins and we continued to ride in silence. I was curious to know even more about her.

"You look like a spy. Your capabilities are such." I merely commented.

"Yeah that true, Veer." She blushed as she said my name. "I was trained to be a spy in my kingdom. I went into secret operations to fight against the other kingdoms. I can speak and write 10 languages, lip read people from distance, use herbs to create medications, fight using elephants, climb the steepest of the mountains, design buildings and monuments, identify the ornaments and understand trade and commerce."

I was astonished with the amount of talent that little woman had hidden within herself.

"If you are so talented, why the hell did you marry me? I am sure there were other kings or princes who would love to have a self sufficient woman like you involved into their political lives with the advent of the marriage?" I couldn't help ask her the most obvious question.

"I didn't marry you for the political alliance or to gain any strategic leverage, Your Majesty." She said. She would use the words "Your Majesty", whenever she would like to taunt me, correct me or when she felt misunderstood.

"But you knew that women in our kingdom don't hold much political power." I asked her.

"I always knew that. The reason why I agreed to our alliance was because I had heard a lot about you, even before we met. Being a spy, I did some groundwork and realised that you never drank, never went to see other women and were very serious about your kingdom and family." She said.

"I was impressed by your nature. I wanted to tell you everything about me, being a little different from other women but I was told not to. You see, men get intimidated by powerful women. Do I decided to adapt a normal life that a Queen leads. It was boring but you always loved and adored me so I was content. I had to get back to my old self because I was worried about your life. Else, I would have hidden into the superficial cocoon that I had so successfully created." She said.

I was speechless. I was married to a spy princess who had more skills than me, who loved me unconditionally, to the limit of the probability of being exposed and insulted for the rest of her life.

"I always loved you. And I will always love you. I apologise for hiding the fact from you." She said as she almost choked but kept her voice steady.

We were quiet for sometime. She seemed to eagerly wait for my reaction. I decided to remain quiet.

"Don't you know that the perjury that you have done leads to many adverse consequences?" I tried to scared her but she turned deadly quiet.

"What consequences?" She gulped. I knew that her practical neat brain had managed to find the escape route in case I decided to imprison her or harm her. I wasn't that shallow.

"Take a guess."  I couldn't help but smile at her innocence.

"Your Majesty! If you ever think of harming me, trust me it won't take me a second to slit your alluring throat into half!" She threatened me and I couldn't help but laugh out aloud.

"You know, there are other forms of punishments too!" I casually remarked.

"Just dare to punish me, Your Highness" she put a special emphasis on the word "Your Highness". Should I be scared? Yes. Scared to lose control around her. Scared to grab her by her waist and kiss her to ensure that she feels like the most desired and loved woman in the planet. She deserved to be loved and spoiler. Also, I had a war going by my side else my mind so keenly wanted to explore her darkest alley of desires.

I looked at her as she gave me an intriguing pout, mad at me as she rode her horse in front of mine, breaking our chain of riding side by side.

I had to scold myself to control my newly erupted desire for a headstrong woman. Never knew I could fall for a feisty woman like her. Besides, my respect for her had increased by ten folds.
