"Got to? Are you serious? You're disturbing my peace and solitude because of a question?" he replies immediately. I can't help but grin.
"I found out something, but before I tell you, I want to know something important."
"And please what?"
"Do you know if Valentin kept a diary?" He seems to rattle for a few moments and then his face lights up.
"Not that I know of!" he says to me.
"How so?"
"None of your business," I say, grinning.
"Got it, you're still mad about my action in the garden the other day!"
"Correctly!"
