The Song for this Chapter is CERTIFIED LONER by MAYORKUN.

Guys, Thank you so much for the love shown towards me in the last chapter.

Updates wouldn't come frequently anymore but I promise you guys updates every week or every two weeks. I'm trying to get to a reasonable point in this story before Writer's block sets in.

We are meeting KAM'S real Mom today. Who is excited!!!

KAM'S POV

"Oh my dear Kambili, how are you. I miss you" Mrs Andrews said with her Yoruba Pronunciation of Kambili as she gave me a hug.

"Babygirl. I missed you. What happened, you're not smiling" Dad said as he rubbed my forehead.

Their actions made me wonder if they were actually my Parents. They both loved me even more than a real parent would.

"I have a slight headache. I should go rest" I lied as I clutched my purse tightly in my hands

"Oh Maria! Maria!! Please call the family Doctor. Kam is sick" Mom yelled as Maria hurried down the stairs

"Oh, don't worry. I'm fine" I replied as I went upstairs and I heard footsteps behind me.

"Kambili Emerald Andrews, you are not locking yourself out today. We have to talk" Diane yelled as she shut the door loudly

"Oh please" I replied as I lay down on my bed

"You know you can tell me anything" Diane said as she came closer to me

"I'm ok" I defended as she scoffed

"You keep crying and breaking stuffs in your room. Kam, you're the overly excited one, the one with a bubbly spirit. What could be going on. I can see that you're depressed about something, it's written all over you. Just tell me. It can't be that bad" Diane rambled as I hissed

"Yes, it can't be that bad" I scoffed as she stared at me with an amused face

"You don't know how it feels like growing up thinking you're the child of your parents when you're not. You don't have any idea Diane and I just have to keep up with the lies" I replied as tears flowed freely down my eyes.

"What. I can't believe this. Whoever fed you with these lies are bunch of Hypocritical liers. You'll only harm yourself by listening to them" Diane said as I hissed.

She wouldn't believe me without an evidence, even I wouldn't believe myself without an evidence and even with the evidences glaring, I still found it hard to believe.

I opened my drawer and brought our all the test results and the text message on my phone. Diane scanned through them and was shocked.

"Kam, calm down. Why don't we pray" Diane said as I hissed

"Do we really need to pray Diane" I asked her and she nodded.

Diane led us for a short prayer and let silence engulf the room.

"Let's go meet your mother. I already texted her and asked her to meet us in the Automobile shop down the road" Diane said breaking the silence

"That's ok but how do we go. If it was only Marie we could go but Dad and Mum..."
