"You think the angels erased your memory?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I do," I nodded, bouncing my knee.

Sam had hotwired a car to come get me from the gas station.

"Why would they do that?"

"You think I know? Hang on."

"What are you doing?"

"Calling Dean. I think he might be in trouble."

"What kind of trouble?"

I didn't respond, holding my phone to my ear as it rang out.

"This is Dean's other, other cell, so you must know what to do," the voicemail message played.

I gave a frustrated huff, hanging up without leaving a message.

"What kind of trouble?" Sam repeated his question.

"Look, when Dean and I were in Purgatory, we, uh... we got separated for a while," I began hesitantly. "I was on my own, but Dean... he made a friend."

"He made a friend? What does that mean?"

Dean stood up after killing a monster.  Benny was cleaning his weapon on another monster's clothing as Cass and I were taking care of the last two. I had gotten disarmed and held out a hand, using my powers to kill the creature while Cass put a hand to his monster's forehead and smote him. Both monsters fell to the ground, dead.

"Well, I got to admit, Dean- he's got his strong points, but holy hell if he ain't a magnet," the vamp said. "He and Eleanor both."

"Well, before we found them, you said it was my humanity that was drawing too much attention," Dean replied.

"Yeah, that too."

"Well, I think we're clear for the moment," Cass announced. "It does present a curious curl of metaphysics, doesn't it? If you murder a monster in monster Heaven, where does it go?"

"And this is the crazy aunt I want to take on the road?" Benny quipped.

"I am not your aunt."

"What? Really?"

"I have no possible relationship to your sibling offspring."

"Now you're kidding me."

"Oh, you two are killing me," Dean groaned.

"I can help with that," I said, glaring over at Benny.

"How many times do I have to say it, Eleanor? You can't kill him!"

"Oh, and don't get me started on you," Benny shot at me.

"No, please. Go ahead," I growled.

"Guys!" Dean yelled.

"I have to agree with the vampire, Dean," Cass piped up. "The risk of crossing Purgatory with a seraph- it's... less than strategic, and certainly when we have no reason to believe I can pass through the door you're headed for."

"You see, you and Eleanor are both intact, living human beings stuck in Purgatory's craw," Benny added. "This dimension wants to spit you out, which is exactly what's gonna power our escape pod. Now, I'm pretty sure I can squeeze through, too, because, after all, you take away the fangs and the fun, I was born human, too. But..."

"I don't think it would work for me," Cass finished.

"You hear what he's telling you, Dean? Your buddy is saying-"
