(True, most of them were dead, but that's beside the point.) All he does nowadays is get beat up verbally at work, and physically at night swinging around as his neighborhood's trademark vigilante. He couldn't take it anymore. So he built a multi universal travel device... One that had the potential to let him see the only other people who could truly understand him.
