"Mr Hargrove is such a lovely man, and his wife Susan is so sweet." Your mother said which Walter nodded in agreement.
"Oh." Was all you could say.
"They invited us over for dinner tomorrow isn't that nice?" Your mother beamed. Why was she this excited for one meal?
"Sure..." you slowly walked back to your room.
"Wait now (Y/n), the shops are still open and we need to get you an outfit." She spoke making you sigh.
"And why's that?"
"I don't want you to embarrass me in front of the Hargroves, I don't want them to know that my daughter listens to that awful music, sounds like a fork on a chalkboard." She held a distaste to metal music, any music which didn't consist of classical music and Elton John.
"But I have other outfits in my closet which are completely fine." You defended.
"And what colours are they?" She folded her arms over her chest. Her red lips pursed.
