PART 40 B

Almost a week passes by like this...

Daadi did observe that Maan is hard bent to get back to his tough Attitude and to prove that he's not changing. He keeps spitting fire for silly reasons. Being Maan's Daadi, she is concerned for this behavior as this will only lead him to no where.

At KC..Maan has been completely avoiding Geet. Even if there is any important task to be done from her side, he would instruct Aadi to get the work done thro her. Geet is not even called for important meetings these days...its Aadi who instructs her what she has to do.

Geet would make his morning coffee and would always greet him GOOD MORNING with a smile and by the end of the day, she would bid him Goodbye as she has to take his leave. Maan conveniently ignores all these gestures. He stands strong with his oath of ignoring Geet completely and doesn't want to get into any talk or discussion which will loosen him again. Whereas Geet never changed herself.

Geet has been seriously preparing for her unit test and project submission. Even Though she has been following Daadima's advice to consider this as a passing phase and concentrate on studies... but deep within her, she could feel the hurt as Maan has been way too rude boss these days...her boss has completely stopped talking to her but she is highly optimistic that things will get back to normal soon and she takes each and every day as it comes.

Sasha again tries all her tricks to bring Maan to her trap but again she failed miserably every time and this is the one thing in her life that she never gives up and keeps trying 😜

At Pinky's res...

Evening time...Geet and Pinky get back home after busy office hours...and they find the doors to be open...

P: Geet...yeh darwaza kis ne khola (Who opened this door?)

G: I was about to ask you this...there must be some thief inside...Lets be careful

Both look at the home...everything was fixed to their respective places and does not show any trace of Robbery. Geet and Pinky were slowly moving in one direction and...

SURPRISE!!!! Meera screams on top of her voice.

Geet and Pinky turn to look at her with a jerk...and take a phew by realising its Meera.

P: Arre Meera...tum ne tho dara hi diya yaar. (You scared me)

Mer: That's Meera...She comes with a bhang!

G: YOU...You would be the only one responsible if at all I would have got heart attack right away 🥵

Mer: HAAYEE......you better take care of your heart as one day or the other, you will hand over it to someone else😉

Meera winks and Pinky couldn't help and she lets out a giggle. It annoys Geet further and she waks on Meera's shoulder...Kabhi tho serious ho jaaya karo yaar (You need to get serious at times)...She grins with a sigh and couldn't stop herself from smiling

Mer: This is what I wanted to see... and that is..YOUR SMILE!!

P: By the way, how did you get the keys?

Mer: I assumed your neighbour will have a spare key and I just requested from them. They gave it to me without any doubt. By now, they have understood that I am close friend of you.

G: Meera is getting smart day by day...anyways, ...Me and Pinky have some important work to finish and have to go out and will be back in 30 mins....Meantime, you fresh up

Pinky is shocked. Why is Geet telling this?

G: Pinky...come lets go
