Eddie's POV
I was walking fast so I could get to the bathroom after first period ended when I rounded a corner and slammed right into this girl. She was looking down at her schedule, so I assumed she was new. She stopped to turn around and look at me. When I saw her face, I think my jaw hit the floor. I couldn't believe it. It was Monica. I didn't think I would ever see her again. I was about to say something, but she just looked at me confused. She had no idea who I was. My best friend had forgotten who I was, and that was it. She turned around and walked away from me without a second thought.
