"So what are you youngsters playing these days?" Derek asked Jeremy.

Yelena stood in the corner, looking at all the games.

"I like... D. O. A." Jeremy replied confidently.

"As in 'dead on arrival'?" Derek asked confused.

"It's 'dead or alive'." Yelena spoke as Derek and Spencer turned to face her, Jeremy too.

She was in the middle of a video game. "Fuck." She groaned as she kicked the game in anger.

Derek and Spencer turned around, facing Jeremy.

Although, Spencer would slowly glance at her sometimes.

He couldn't help it. Something was pulling his eyes on her like a magnet.

"What do you like so much about it, Jeremy?"

"The close combat." Jeremy replied as he stared at the game.

"It's all about timing, how well you know your enemies." He informed them as he looked up at them.

"Plus I'm really good at it." He shrugged.

And that attracted Yelena's attention. A challenge.

"Well, let's see if you're that good to beat me." Yelena challenged as she walked up to them.

Derek went to protest, interrupted as Yelena held a hand up.

"Just one game, Derek." She told him as she raised her brows.

"You're gonna lose." He scoffed as he prepared himself for the game. "

You sure about that, Jerry?" She asked him with a smirk.

"Jerry." She chuckled at her own choice of nickname.

The game began, Spencer watching intently.

Derek peered at his left and right to see if no one was watching an agent breaking the rules by playing a game with the family of a victim.

She shook the joysticks, so hard you'd think she was trying to break them.

She was so concentrated in the game, not even looking at Jeremy.

Spencer almost smiled as he saw how good she was, enthusiastic and concentrated.

Well, maybe not enthusiastic, but surely concentrated.

The game was coming to its end, Jeremy having 'killed' 30 zombies and Yelena 20.

But she knew what she was doing. Maybe...
