Sorry if it's boring, kind of a filler(:

------------------------------------------------------------Chapter Nine--------------------------------------------------------

"Wow." I said to Sonny

That's all I could say after hearing her sing. She's amazing! I sat got up from laying down on the big chair in our dressing room and walked over to Sonny who was sitting on her vanity chair, facing towards me, holding her guitar. Sonny smiled.

"Really? Your not just saying that?" She asked, putting her guitar down.

I gave her a look, "Sonny, trust me, I know talent when I hear it. Plus, your going on TOUR with MY Brothers!" I squealed.

Sonny hopped up from her seat and hugged me. We jumped up and down.

"And you! It's going to be so awesome!" She said in an excited voice.

It was exciting! Being able to spend time with my brothers and best friend for the summer? Sign me up! Sonny picked up her guitar which was leaning on the vanity and put it back in her guitar case. I looked at the clock, 11:35, 25 minutes until lunch! I was excited because Chad and I are going to 'meet up'. We forgot all about that little awkward bump in the road when he asked me out to dinner, so now everything is back to normal.

Well, if you call what we have normal.

"What's that song called?" I asked Sonny, as I took a Pepsi from the mini fridge and popped it open.

Sonny smiled, "Catch Me."

"I loved it! How many more songs do you have?"

Sonny smiled and went towards her side of the room. She went to her desk and pulled out a thick binder, my mouth dropped. Why haven't I ever noticed that thing just lying around?

"Oh my. Why have you been keep this a secret?" I asked, flipping through the binder.

Sonny shrugged, "Scared, I guess."

"You shouldn't have been. These look amazing." I said as I stopped flipping through them and handed her the binder back.

She thanked me and we just spent the rest of our time reviewing some lines. The clock finally struck 12 as Sonny and I grabbed out purses.

"Oh! I have a lunch meeting with Marshall, so I'll see you at our final rehersal."

Sonny nodded, "Ok! See ya!"

I waited until she was far down the hall, then I took off in lighting speed to Chad's dressing room.

Chad and I stormed on to the set for our final rehearsal. We were about ten minutes late and you could tell, everyone was just sitting around. Grady and Nico were playing 'Thumb War' while Zora looked deep in thought, probably thinking about her plan for world domination. Sonny was talking to my brothers, probably about tour. Well, she was talking to Nick and Kevin, more like flirting with Joe. Sonny looked over to Chad and I.

"About time!" She pratically yelled.

The boys and Sonny walked towards us, "Where have you been? Marshall has been here since the beginning of rehearsal." Kevin said, stopping in front of us.

Chad and I looked at each other, trying to read each other's thoughts so we wouldn't say something stupid.

"I had to stop by the bathroom and dressing room." I smiled, perfect.

Joe turned to Chad, "What about you?"

I turned to Chad who looked like he was about to die. Either it was from the pressure or Joe just being scary, which he was, you should see his face right now. His eyes were boring into Chad's, as if he was about to attack.

"Mackenzie Falls junk." Chad answered a little too late.

Joe just raised an eyebrow as everyone else nodded, not really caring. It was obvious Joe knows something, or at least he's pretty supicious. I shrugged it off, for now, and walked with Sonny to start reviewing some lines for the show in two hours.

I laughed from backstage as I watched Nico, Grady, and Zora so the opening skit. I wasn't the only one laughing, you should hear the audience! I was already in my 'Check-It-Out' costume as I sat next to Nick while we watched the monitors.

Are You Ready to Get 'So Random'?

The opening credits started to play as it showed our little openings. Grady was first, doing a little dance when the door opened. Then, Nico who acted surprised by the camera being there. Zora, who did a way to enthusatic wave and Sonny who pretended to fall since she missed the door frame. Then, I came up as my brothers started clapping insanely with the rest of the audience as the screen me looked at the rubber chicken in my hand as if it was dangerous and threw it towards the camera.

And Your Host, Chad Dylan Cooper!

A picture of Chad appeared on the screen as everyone went nuts. Figures.

With Musicial Guests, The Jonas Brothers!

A picture of the boys came up as everyone went crazy.....again! I playfully pretend to pinch Nick's cheeks, like our Aunt Sally does everytime she visit. He slapped me away as I rolled my eyes. Quinn walked towards us, how did I know  this? Well, Nick's posture went totally straight as he fixed his hair and made sure his outfit was okay.

I turned to Joe and Kevin who just grinned mockily at Nick. Quinn stopped to talk to Burt, one of the stage managers, as Nick stared longily at her.

"Nick, it's your last day here. Ask her out!" I said, quiet enough for the four of us to hear.

He turned to me, "It's not that easy."

"Yeah it is." Joe said.

Kevin slapped him behind the head, "It may be hard Nick, but if you are really intrested in the girl, go for it."

Nick still looked a bit afraid as he looked back over at Quinn who was pointing to a light that was a little astray. Time for my prep talk! I turned Nick's head so he was looking right at me.

"You're Nick Jonas. You're a JONAS BROTHER. Your band has been nominated for a Grammy! You can ask a girl out. Go!" I said, tipping his chair, making him stand up.

He gave me a look, but it was a look of confidence. I made a 'move-it-along' gesture to him. Nick nodded, turned in the direction of Quinn, and started walking towards her.

Nick P.O.V.

I could feel my knees going weak as I started walking towards Quinn, who was now taking notes on a clipboard and smiling at the monitors showing Sonny as 'Sicky Vicky'.

"Hey, Quinn." I smiled at her.

She looked away from the monitor, "Oh! Hi, Nick." She smiled at me.

That smile. It was the most beautiful thing in the entire world. Focus, Nick!

"I was wondering if you would be intrested in going out to dinner, or something else if you want to..." That was so stupid.

Quinn just smiled again, "That sounds nice."

My unprepared invitation actually worked?! I smiled, Jenny was right, I'm a freaking Jonas Brother! I can ask a girl out in the most

ill-prepared way possible.

"How about tomorrow night, seven-ish?" I asked, trying a little too hard to be 'cool'.

Quinn nodded, "Sounds great! Here's my address." She scribbled on a piece of paper then ripped it, handing it to me.

"Awesome! So...I'll see you tomorrow."

She nodded again, "Yes, you will."

I did a wave as I walked back over to Jenny and the guys, I showed the little paper from a distance as Jenny gave me a thumbs up. When I got closer, she high fived me.

"I told you!" She exclaimed, always happy to gloat.

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah."
