The sunlight peaked through the curtains of Natasha's aparment signaling the start of a new day. Wanda and Y/N had been staying there with Natasha for almost a week, while Wanda recovered from the flu.

That morning everything seemed quiet enough to let Wanda catch up on the sleep she couldn't get the night before, but as soon as she heard little footsteps aproaching the bedroom, Wanda knew how wrong she was.

"Mama... up. You said we could go to the park today." Y/N climbed up Natasha's bed, excitedly and shook Wanda's arm. Her other arm losely arould her monkey stuffie, Calipso.

Wanda let out a groan at the contact, before she tiredly rubbed the sleep off her eyes and sat down, adjusting the little girl in her lap.

"Can we go, already?"

"Lovebug, it's only 7 A.M. We need to do a lot of things today, before even thinking of going to the park." Wanda responded, pulling a strand of loose hair behind her daughter's ear.

"Like mama resting a lot, today..." Natasha interrupted the little chat.

A soft smile plastered on her lips as she walked to her girlfriend with a mug on her hands.

"I thought you were asleep, dear."

"I was, but you know the little one. She's always waking people up. Thanks, love." Wanda took the mug carrefully from Natasha's grip and took a long sip of the tea inside.

"But she pinky promised we were going to the park today." Y/N mumbled and crossed her arms, causing Calipso to fell off the bed.

"Sorry hun... Mama is still feeling a little sick today. But I could take you out to the park..." Natasha offered.

Y/N furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head, before she climbed down the bed and stomped out the room.

"Well, that didn't go as planned..." Wanda chuckled with her nose wrinkled, taking another sip from her tea.

"I'll go check on her." Natasha was about to climb out of bed, when a soft grip on her hand stopped her.

"You don't have to, Nat. I'll go. It's my kid after all." Wanda sighed, putting her tea mug on the nightstand and pulled out the sheets from her body. This time Natasha's grip on her hand stopped her.

"But I want to, babe. You're tired and still recovering from the flu, so you need to rest. Okay?" Wanda nodded in response, taking the remote to put something on the T.V.
