The next day you awake to your phone ringing at 7am, it was your mom calling, you hit ignore, you had a feeling you would have a repeat of yesterday. You looked over and saw Nafessa was already gone. "How you leave me in YOUR dorm?" you thought. You got your bag and jacket and dipped out. You know you needed to get to work on that paper that was due in two days. You headed back to your dorm, took a quick shower, changed just in enough time for your 8:45 class...
While in class you got a text from Cedric saying he was sorry he hadn't called you yesterday but he had a paper due today. You texted "its fine babe, ill talk to you when im out of class" and quickly put your phone back into your bag. You were little confused as to why you had not gotten a reply back from Trevor yet. But whatever, you weren't going to play his lil game. You had too much on your mind already with finals approaching. After class you head back to your room to get started on the term paper and was met with Chloe who was getting ready to go jog:

Y/N: hey
Chloe: hey... you didn't sleep here last night, i was sort of worried
Y/N: (clears your throat) you didn't call or text so
Chloe: wanted to give you your space too
Y/N: (nods your head) i see (you walk over to your bed and grab your laptop)
Chloe: we should talk (sits down)
Y/N: whats up?
Chloe: Y/N i don't want you to ever think that im not here for you. And maybe i portrayed that yesterday by judging you instead of just listening. I really do care about you a great deal and i don't want you get hurt by anything or anyone. I guess its just in my nature to be a tad bit overprotective over people i love. However, i could have went by it differently, and for that i apologize.
Y/N: (you look over to her and can tell her words were sincere) i accept your apology. (you open your arms for a hug and she comes over and squeezes you tightly)
Chloe: what are you doing today after your classes?
Y/N: i have to do this term paper on Utopia thats due by friday
Chloe: i thought you turned that in already?
Y/N: no that was my thesis statement paper on Utopia. With Valentine's Day and practice, i completely forgot the actual paper was due yesterday.
Chloe: (twist her mouth) hmm, well i was hoping we could have a girl's night tonight. BUT i suppose I can live with Friday
Y/N: Friday is def better Chlo.
Chloe: cool. Ill see you later okay?
Y/N: okay.
