Today is Tuesday, I already take a bath because I'm going to attend my class today, I was excused yesterday.
Yes, kahapon pa ako nakalabas galing hospital. I stayed in with the Marcos's the whole day yesterday.
Inihatid ako ni kuya Borgy at tita Irene dito sa condo kaninang umaga. I already ate my breakfast too and head to school right away.
I was shocked when Ms. Castro called me.
"Celestine!"
I looked at her direction, "Good morning ma'am, do you need something po?" I asked.
"Thank God you're already here, okay kana ba?" She asked me.
"Yes ma'am, okay na po ako. Bakit po?" I asked back.
"Come with me." She said.
I nodded, "Where are we going po?" I asked.
"In the Principal's Office, we need to talk to you for some important matter." Ms. Castro replied.
I frowned, "Did I just do something wrong?" I asked myself.
We're already here outside of the Principal's Office, Ms. Castro knocked first and when Ms. Javier responded, we entered the office.
"Good morning ma'am, um eto na po si Ms. Isabelle Celestine Dy." Ms. Castro intoduced.
"Good morning po" I greeted, respectively.
"Good morning hija, Hindi na ako magpapaligoy ligoy pa. Can you please do us a favor?" Ms. Javier asked.
"U-uh what favor po?" I replied, nervously.
"Please be our representative for today's debate competition. Our debate candidate kasi is absent kasi, your History Teacher Mr. Suarez also recommend you, I have check your school background achievements and you were a debater. So please, Celestine?" Ms. Javier pleaded.
I don't have a choice but to agree.
"Okay po, what time po yung debate?" I asked, nervously.
"When the guests arrived hija." She replied.
"What school po yung makakalaban ko?" I asked.
"DLSU, Celestine. I know you can do it." Ms. Javier replied.
Damn, I'm not prepared. This is not my first time competing with DLSU but I'm still nervous.
Minutes had passed...
All the students in Ateneo are already here in the Gymnasium, they're going to watch our debate.
Nung dumating na yung DLSU team, I was shocked to see na yung kalaban ko for the past years sa debate, siya parin yung kalaban ko. She beat me once, I don't know now.
"You again?" She asked in surprise.
"No one else." I said as I smirked, she sighed.
"Okay, to start this event. May we please call on, our candidates." The host said.
"For the Ateneo team, we have Ms. Isabelle Celestine Dy!" He introduced, all the ateneans cheered and clapped their hands.
"GO ATENEO, ONE BIG FIGHT!"
"GO ATENEO, ONE BIG FIGHT!"
"And for the DLSU Team, we have Ms. Bettina Morales!"
"ANIMO LASALLE!"
