A few hours later, the doctors had given the green light that they could go and see Y/n. Eren was currently sat on the floor. He felt a hand on his shoulder, causing him to look up, he saw Armin and Mikasa with small smiles on their faces.

''Doc said that we can go and meet Y/n'' Armin spoke up

''Go and see her Eren'' Mikasa smiled as she gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze

Eren nodded and quickly got up. He opened the door and saw Y/n fast asleep on the bed, he made his way over and sat down next to her. He gently stroked Y/n's hair, as warm tears flooded his face. He saw Y/n flutter her eyes open. Eren noticed how exhausted her eyes looked, Y/n was just barely able to keep her eyes open. Eren gently cupped her face and placed a gentle kiss on the tip of her nose, as he looked at her with blurry eyes.

''Please don't ever scare me like that ever again Y/n....'' Eren's voice was shaky as he gently caressed her cheeks

''I....I'm sorry Eren....'' Y/n's breathing was heavy as warm tears flowed down her face

''Don't talk....it's hurting you isn't it?'' Eren shook his head as he gently wiped Y/n's tears

Eren then very gently picked Y/n's body up as he leaned back on the rest while holding Y/n on top of him, her head rested on his chest. He gently rubbed her back to help ease the pain she was going through right now. Y/n looked up at Eren, slowly moved up with the little bit of strength she had. Y/n's lips then met Eren's lips, with his eyes slightly widening. After Y/n pulled out, she rested her head back on his chest and smiled.

''I love you too Eren....'' Y/n closed her eyes as she snuggled into his chest

''I heard everything....your voice...the pain in your voice....I can still hear it....'' Y/n closed her eyes as warm tears continued to flow down her face, causing Eren's eyes to widen as he looked down at her

''I guess we're both idiots in the end'' Eren let out a soft chuckle as he tightened his grip around her body

''We are....'' Y/n nodded as she also let out a shaky chuckle

Eren could hear Y/n's heavy breathing, so he continued to gently rub her back to comfort her in anyway he could. Eren kept a blanket over her body considering how weakened her body was. Y/n lifted her head up and looked at Eren.

''So....does.....does this mean....Eren and Y/n are officially together....?'' Y/n asked as she looked at him with her tired eyes, causing Eren to gently place a kiss on her forehead

''It does......Y/n belongs to Eren and Eren only'' Eren smiled as he nodded his head, earning a small smile from Y/n

The rest of the squad also met Y/n, the girls were beyond happy to see Y/n alive, in front of their eyes, Levi scolded the two for being stupid, but considering how weak Y/n was, Levi decided to be gentle, considering he didn't want to stress her body out more than it already is. After staying there for some time, the rest had left, leaving the two in the room. Eren could feel Y/n's body trembling, that it scared Eren so much....

''My body hurts Eren....why does it have to hurt so much'' Y/n spoke up shakily as she buried herself into his chest, causing Eren to grit his teeth in pain

''Stop talking princess....it will only make it worse....what you need is complete rest okay...so please rest your eyes....Eren is here to take care of your body for you okay'' Eren spoke up softly as he gently stroked her hair, holding her close
