𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 || 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘖𝘯 𝘛𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘯

𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 21

A loud bang was heard throughout the forest, Y/n and everyone were blasted away, crashing landing on the ground. Eren was close by to Petra and Oluo, nearby to them were Gunther and Eld, who were shaken by the sudden bang. They had cuts on their arms and legs but that was just about it. Eren looked around and his eyes widened when he realised a certain individual wasn't here.

''Where's Y/N?'' Eren yelled as he looked search frantically

''She was right infront when the blast happened....damn it!!'' Gunther gritted his teeth

''We have to look for her.....she must be close by'' Eren announced as he ran off trying to look for Y/n

''Oi Eren!! don't go rushing off on your own....we have to stick together.....our gear is broken and this forest is huge'' Eld yelled for Eren

''No....I don't care....I'm going to find her myself then.....I don't need anyone's help'' Eren's voice was shaky as he run straight ahead again, causing everyone's eyes to widen

''We have to go after him, we can't leave him here either'' Petra spoke up worriedly, causing everyone to nod.

So then, Eren and the others began looking for Y/n. To make things easier, Eren transformed into his titan so he could scout out the area much quicker. Levi came over due to the massive blast they also heard. Levi was in shock when he saw Eren scouting the forest in a panic

''Where's Y/n....'' Levi asked as he looked at his comrades in the eye

*silence*

''Where.is.Y/n?'' Levi asked again, snapping them out of their thoughts

They then explained the whole situation and Levi was left in shock.

''I guess it was my fault back then....she even said that she saw someone standing on the tree watching them....but it's true Captain, when I looked, nobody truly was there'' Petra explained as she looked at Eren worriedly

''Tsk! First the person in the titan and now someone else is targeting Y/n....damn it!!''

''We have to let Erwin know....we can't leave without her.....that was a massive blast so It's hard to say anything....'' Levi closed his eye in frustration

So then Levi fired the emergency flare, a few minutes later, horses were seen coming towards them. All the other recruits were there along with the squad leaders. Levi explained the situation to them and they were left in shock.

''I don't care about the person in the female titan...right now we need to find Y/n....'' Mikasa spoke up as she stared at Eren's titan scoping the area, warm tears flowing down her face

''Someone go get Eren to stop first....'' Levi sighed as he looked at Eren

So then everyone started scoping the forest, it was a massive forest so it still difficult to search the whole forest. After Hours of searching Y/n was not found, not a single trace. Eren had exited out of his titan form and was now sat on the ground, staring ahead, warm tears flowing down his eyes.

''We couldn't find her'' Eren painfully chuckled as he placed on hand on his face

''We don't even know what condition she is is right now''

Everyone was there, with others eventually returning empty handed, their faces saddened at the pained expression on Eren's face. Jean looked at him and gritted his teeth, not knowing how much pain Eren is in now, after not being able to find Y/n. It was getting dark and everyone was now waiting for Erwin's decision.

*sigh*

''We need to head back'' Erwin announced, causing Eren's eyes to widen along with the othe recruits

''W-we can't do that....what if Y/n is still is still alive out there.....how can we leave her?'' Sasha spoke as she stared at the Commander

''You can all leave. I ain't going'' Eren announced as he stared at Erwin, causing everyone to look at him to shock

''I am not about to leave her on her own in this goddamn forest. If everyone wants to leave they can, I am not stopping anyone'' Eren turned his head to side and closed his eyes

''Eren, right now, we don't have supplies to stay here any longer. We must head back'' Erwin announced as he made his way over.

''I know how much Y/n means to you, but look at the situation, we couldn't find her anywhere'' Erwin sighed as she bent down infront of Eren and patted his shoulder

''Do you think It was an easy decision for me to make?'' Erwin asked in a serious tone as he looked at Eren directly in the eyes, causing Eren to look at him, but he stayed silent.

''She won't last here in the cold.....'' Eren's voice was shaky as she closed his eyes, letting his tears fall

''I can't leave her'' Eren let his head hung low, causing everyone to look at him with worry in their eyes

''I'll stay here with Eren....since I am already responsible for him and Y/n'' Levi announced, causing everyone's eyes to widen, Eren looked up at Levi

''I still need to scold that brat for storming off on her own'' Levi scoffed, earning a small chuckle from Eren and a smile from Erwin

''Erwin, you all head back, me and Eren will continue searching around. Leave one the emergency supply kits with us'' Levi announced, earning a nod from him.

So then Levi and Eren both were left behind, whilst the rest of the Survey Corps heads back to Karanes. Eren looked up at Levi.

''What's the real reason you stayed behind Captain Levi? Cuz I am pretty sure you wanting to scold her isn't the real reason...that was just for show.....Commander Erwin, I'm guessing knows too'' Eren asked

*Sigh*

''Do you think you're the only one that cares about Y/n?'' Levi asked as he sat down next to Eren

''You're both on my squad and it it's only natural for me to care for my squad...what happened to Y/n is my responsibility, so if anyone is to blame, then it's me'' Levi explained as Eren listened carefully

''You like her don't you?'' Levi now asked, causing Eren's eyes to widen slightly, but a frown made it's way onto his face

''I do.....to be fair....I think I always have....but I was unsure of my feelings towards Y/n....the time a titan swallowed her right infront of me....scared me so much that I realised how much Y/n really means to me...I don't want to lose her'' Eren explained as he stared at the tree ahead

''But....I don't want to ruin our friendship....I don't know how she feels....and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have the same feelings as me.....'' Eren frowned as he let out sigh

''All I know is that I want to protect her....even if she doesn't return the feelings....I don't mind....as long as I can see her everyday, then it's enough for me'' Eren smiled slightly as he looked down

''Just a word of advice Eren........sometimes, taking risks is just the push we need.....but importantly....follow what your heart tells you'' Levi smiled as he patted his shoulder
