Felix sat there silently humming to himself while they drove to Chan's apartment. He had asked the brunette if he wanted to study today, shocked he agreed to after his fight with Minho earlier that morning.

His humming was drowned out by the sound of Chan's usual Deftones playing in the background. He's tutored Chan for a couple weeks now, so it would only become natural for him to memorize some of the songs Chan played on a regular basis.

He had grown to like Chan's music taste, growing rather excited whenever a new song would play on shuffle.

His mind was clouded with thoughts that have been running wild for a while. He's been constantly thinking about how Chan had bashed his parents in front of him, and wether or not such things were true.

Those thoughts weren't his main focus though. As much as it bothered him, not being Chan's friend bothered him more, and now after today he was also bothered by the fact that he protected Jisung. Yes it was the right thing to do, but Chan never cared about what was right or wrong. He didn't care enough to defend a random nerd getting bullied on a regular school day.

Felix couldn't quite pinpoint why he cared so much in the first place. Maybe he was jealous Chan had did something kind for somebody when he hasn't showed much kindness to Felix at all. There's no way Chan could befriend somebody like Jisung before him, that would be ridiculous. As mean as it sounded, Felix couldn't help but think that way.

Felix looked over his shoulder, eyes locking onto a wild Bang Chan who focused heavily on the road. Even though his face was void of emotion, Felix couldn't help but notice the irritation that hid beneath the surface. His usual dangly earrings swayed with every bump and turn of the car, while he controlled the steering wheel with one hand.

They pulled into the parking lot of his apartment complex, getting out and making their way inside Chan's apartment. Not a word has been spoken since he asked Chan to study today. He knew they weren't going to end up studying, but he didn't really mind. Being able to spend time with Chan regardless was always something Felix looked forward to.

Chan turned on his bluetooth speaker, playing his music quietly in the background. He threw himself on the couch, feet lightly tapping to the beat.

"I'm assuming you don't want to study today?" Felix asked, already knowing the answer.

"Fuck that." Chan responded, pulling out his phone to read a text. He rolled his eyes and let out a loud sigh. The brunette shut his phone off, throwing it onto the other couch in the living room. Felix couldn't help but wonder why he seemed so upset just now. It was the same expression he had earlier this morning when he checked his phone.

"Is everything okay?" Felix asked, nervous that maybe he would get yelled at. It was obvious Chan wasn't in a good mood, so this probably wouldn't end pretty.

"Why do you ask?" Chan questioned, eyes glued to the ceiling while he tapped his chest lightly to the beat.

"Well I couldn't help but notice that you seemed upset after looking at something on your phone. Did something happen?" The blonde questioned, pushing up the frames on his glasses while nervously biting his lip.

"You really are nosey aren't you? Putting your business in situations where it doesn't belong, questioning literally everything too. God it's so fucking annoying!" Chan shouted, getting up from the couch. Felix flinched at the harsh tone, eyes stinging due to the tears that threatened to fall.

"Stop fucking crying will you?! Is that all you know how to do?!" He yelled once more. Felix choked loudly on a sob, frantically wiping away his tears. "I-I'm sorry!" The blonde apologized, looking down to hide his face.

Chan let out another sigh, walking to the fridge to pull out two cans of soda. He slid one to Felix, cracking open his can afterwards. The blonde looked up, eyes locking onto the blue and green can that read "Sprite".

"I didn't mean to yell." Chan spoke after a few minutes of intense silence. "To answer your question, yes something did happen." He continued, taking a sip from the cold can. Felix wiped away the remaining tears, small sniffles leaving his mouth while he did so. He cracked open the can of soda, slowly taking a sip of the forbidden liquid.

"Me and my boyfriend broke up." He added in. Felix's first instinct was to ask why, but he was afraid of getting yelled at again.

"Before you go asking, I don't want to talk about it." Chan sternly spoke.

"B-but keeping it all in isn't good for you. It's nice to have somebody to vent to." Felix quietly spoke, hoping that maybe just maybe Chan would open up to him.

"Well I don't feel comfortable talking about it so no. I already told you too much already." The brunette spoke, getting up to grab his keys from off the table.

Felix watch closely, confused on why he had grabbed his keys. Was he taking him home?! They haven't even been at the apartment for longer than ten minutes! Felix quickly began to panic, even though Chan was an absolute asshole sometimes, he couldn't help but want to spend as much time as possible with him.

"W-what's going on?" Felix asked, worry laced heavily in his tone. Chan didn't speak, grabbing his phone once more to check on it.

"Are you taking me home?" Felix asked once more, noticing how Chan was getting more irritated with each question. If there was one thing the brunette hated more, it was getting questioned 24/7.

"If you keep asking then yes. Grab your things." Chan said, walking out of the door. Felix quickly grabbed his belongings, along with the Sprite, following closely behind Chan.

"We're getting ice cream." Was all Chan said before making his way to a shop down the street. Felix couldn't help the small smile on his face, everything from earlier disappearing almost immediately. This was the first time they were doing something other than studying! This was progress!
