"Mr Lee Minho?"
"Oh, that's me. Let's go!"
The ravenette smiled and grabbed Jisung's hand who had Aera in his other arm, the little girl's eyes sparkling in pure excitement.
They were about to see the little bean in the ultrasound and for Aera it was the first time.
The doctor smiled softly when she looked at him with big curious eyes but immediately snuggled her face in her papa's neck when she realized that he was looking at her.
"The whole family is here today?"
"Yeah, we didn't bring our dog and cat though"
Minho chuckled as he sat down on the examination table, already knowing what's going to happen.
"Are we going to see wittle bean now?"
Aera mumbled softly against her papa's neck, her tiny fingers playing with some of his hair strands.
"Yeah baby, we will. But the doctor has to ask appa some questions first."
She stayed like this, right in Jisung's arms, and didn't really listen to the things the adults were talking about.
She didn't understand what the doctor said nor did she understand what her appa replied, all those difficult and strange words.
But as long as they were smiling while talking, she didn't worry about her baby sibling.
"Papa?"
"Yes, baby?"
"Can we see wittle bean now?"
"Be patient princess, the doctor will tell us when the moment has arrived, okay?"
Jisung spoke softly and pressed a small kiss on her chubby cheek, making her giggle cutely.
"Okay, Mr Lee. Could you please lay down and lift up your shirt? I think someone is getting impatient over there"
The doctor chuckled as he motioned with his eyes towards the little girl who just smiled shyly before she snuggled her face back in her papa's chest.
Minho chuckled but did as he was told, he laid down and lifted his shirt up, revealing his cute baby bump.
He barely had any stretch marks in contrast to Jisung, only a few small ones on the lower side of his belly from his second pregnancy.
Their little bean was growing quite well so even all the lotions and oils couldn't stop the skin from stretching a bit, still the ravenette was glad that they were only a few and barely noticeable.
"Let's have a look now, shall we?"
All three nodded, Aera at such a speed that it made her parents coo.
The doctor placed the transducer on Minho's belly and guided it over the skin until the little unborn was fully visible on the screen resulting in big smiles blooming on their parents' faces.
"Hi little bean"
The ravenette smiled widely before he met eyes with his boyfriend, Jisung's eyes were practically sparkling.
Just like their daughter's eyes.
"Wittle bean"
She giggled softly as he watched in pure fascination how the unborn moved their hand to their mouth to suck on their thumb.
Minho wasn't sure if she could really understand and see her sibling on the monitor, it was still a bit difficult to make out the features of the little one on the black and white screen.
But they were definitely looking way more like a baby than last time months ago so there was a possibility, right?
And Jisung just chuckled and kissed her cute soft cheek again, how did he get so lucky to have such an adorable daughter?
Seeing their other baby on the ultrasound now made him remember how he had seen Aera for the first time.
It reminded him of the ultrasound where he had just learned that he was actually expecting a baby.
But it also reminded him of the ultrasound where Minho had accompanied him.
The ravenette's soft giggles pulled him out of his train of thoughts and now he remembered.
He remembered that this wasn't about the past.
Aera was here in his arms, smiling so cutely as she watched her sibling on the monitor.
And Minho was here, he was here carrying their baby right under his heart.
Another small life marking a new beginning for all three of them.
