When Minho arrived at the bridge,
Jisung was nowhere to be seen.

There was no trace of him.

The ravenette immediately
jumped out of his car, not
even closing the door before
running to the railing.

To be meeted with nothing,
nothing at all.

Only raging waves,
a yellow buoy and a few seagulls.

"Jisung?!"

He wasn't even sure why he
was calling after him when he
didn't even know if he was here...

or alive and able to hear him.

"Fuck fuck fuck, where is he-"

Minho cursed under his breath
while pulling his phone out and
finally doing what he should have
done the moment he had found
the note.

He called the police.

A sigh escaped the purple-haired
boy as he caressed the soft floppy
ears of the black dog in front of him.

"Who would have guessed that
the day would have such an
unpredictable turn, hm?"

The dog just looked at him with
big brown eyes, resting her chin
on her owner's thigh.

"You're such a good girl, yeah"

The man cooed and leaned down
to press a kiss right between her
fluffy ears, smiling when his
pup wagged her tail happily.

It felt strange to be here,
especially with Luna.

A hospital wasn't really made
for dogs at all, that's why he
was sitting outside in the
hospital's garden and waiting
for any news.

People were rushing in and
out of the big entrance,
some with white coats or
these light blue nurse clothes,
others walked carefully with
crutches or got pushed
in a wheelchair.

Once in a while an ambulance
also arrived and the paramedics
rushed inside with a patient,
just like about half an hour ago
with the someone Changbin
had found.

The owner of the little box
he was holding.

'I close my eyes to dream away'

The purple-haired boy had just
been on his daily afternoon walk
with Luna where he always walked
over the bridge to feed some bread
to the seagulls when he was met
by someone.

Someone sitting leaned against
the railing, but on the wrong side.

The boy's black bangs were stuck
to his sweaty forehead but he
was so pale already.

Changbin walked closer slowly,
not wanting to scare him resulting
in any unplanned movements.

He didn't want the boy to jump
and it somehow felt like he'd
exactly do that if he noticed
the other's presence.

Luna also stayed still and kept quiet,
as if she knew how risky the
situation was.

The boy was lifting his hand
slowly every now and then to
take a drag on his cigarette,
so far there wasn't any sign
that he'd jump.

But you never knew, right?

Right.

Because just when Changbin
wanted to walk a step closer,
the ravenette placed something
beside him and whispered
something to himself.

And then he let himself
fall forward.

Just like this.

Everything went too fast,
the purple-haired boy wasn't
even able to react when he
watched the boy fall with
wide eyes.

But Luna was.

She had rushed forward at
light speed, ripping the leash
out of Changbin's hand in the
process just to bite in the fabric
of the boy's hoodie, keeping him
from falling.

The ravenette didn't protest,
he was too far gone already thanks
to the pills he had taken.

Changbin had been the one
pulling the boy over the railing
and calling an ambulance.

Changbin had been the one taking
the small cigarette box with him.

But Luna had been the one saving
Jisung from jumping off the bridge.

Although nobody knew if
he'd survive his overdose.

Binnie 🥺
