"Let it all out sweetie, it's okay"

Minho caressed the boy's back as
Jisung whimpered and gagged again,
the breakfast and cake he had
enjoyed so much leaving his
system and entering the
porcelain bowl.

He handed the younger a wet
tissue to wipe his mouth once he
was done but the blue-haired boy
just leaned against the cold tiles
of the wall, almost passing out.

A sigh left the ravenette as he
wiped Jisung's mouth and chin
before throwing the tissue in the
toilet and flushing everything
nasty away.

"Come on sweetie,
you can't stay there or
your back will hurt.
I'll help you get upstairs
and make you a tea there.
That should calm your stomach."

But when the younger pouted softly,
Minho couldn't help but raise
his eyebrow in confusion.

"What's on your mind, hm?"

"G-garden."

"You want to take a nap on
the Hollywood swing outside?"

"Can I?"

It was hard to resist those big
brown sparkling puppy eyes
and since the ravenette didn't
even have the intention to,
he immediately nodded.

"But are you sure that it
won't make you sick,
you know, the swinging?"

"No, this was because I
probably ate too much.
The baby didn't like the
extra weight on it."

And again Minho frowned,
a baby was not an 'it'.

Whenever Jisung mentioned his child
like they were literally nothing
to him, as if the little human
was just a burdensome hole in
his sock or something like that,
the older's heart ached.

He couldn't help but think
that life was unfair.

One loved his child more
than anything and lost her,
one hadn't even wanted his
baby and apparently still didn't.

He liked Jisung and he wouldn't
judge him or get jealous but he
himself still hadn't fully healed yet.

And the big scar on his heart
would forever remain.

"Okay then, I'll help you outside and
after that I'll make you some tea.
And I'll bring you some toast,
you need to eat something since
there's nothing in there now."

"Thank you"

Jisung tried to smile the best
he could as Minho helped him
up and led him to the veranda.

It was even prettier
once you stood outside,
a gentle breeze let the leaves
rustle and the grass bend while
the birds chirped excitedly.

This was paradise.

"Stay here and don't run away,
I'll be here in a few minutes"

The older joked before
disappearing into the house again,
chuckling when he heard Jisung's
'Do I look like running away?'

The boy never knew that nature
could be so beautiful, so calming,
so healing.

Growing up in a huge city like
Seoul never gave him the option
to experience something like this,
a park was the maximum of
green you could find there.

But a beautiful garden like this?

So many birds and insects?

A soft meow made him snap
out of his thoughts and Jisung's
gaze fell on the orange cat
that sat beside his feet,
looking at him expectantly.

"Hey there~
Do you like the garden too?"

Meow.

And with an elegant jump the
striped creature stood beside
him on the Hollywood swing,
purring when the boy petted
his head.

Jisung smiled softly as he
scratched the kitty's chin,
he was happy that the cat
seemed to like him and he
forgot about his sick state
for a moment.

"Oh you've met Soonie."

The younger looked up to see
the pure adoration in Minho's
eyes as he placed the cup of
steaming tea on the table,
the orange kitty meant so
much to him.

"So your name is Soonie, hm?"

Another meow.

"I like you too, Soonie."
