If there's anything that Shotaro had known his entire life, it was to never get drunk at Ten's house. Still, every year, he found himself with a cup of vodka in hand and the other dangling around as a sober Sungchan dragged him around. Even though he had vodka, Shotaro always ended up wondering why he ended up with a killer hangover after the annual New Year's Eve party. He always asked Sungchan if he was sure he didn't want to drink, but January 1st was the younger's day.

Shotaro always felt a little more calm when he was drunk. He was able to talk with everyone about anything, and he flew between each conversation easily. Sungchan always stayed on his tail, though, making sure that he didn't do anything stupid in the process.

"No, Taro." Sungchan held the cup of alcohol over his head. He knew that Shotaro wasn't able to reach it from up there, no matter how much he reached. "You've already had too much to drunk. Way too much, might I add."

"Channie," Shotaro whined before mumbling something incoherent. He reached for the cup again, but Sungchan wasn't just going to let up that easily. "Please..."

Thankfully, Sungchan was saved when Johnny had started gathering everyone around the countdown hooked up to his and Ten's TV. Shotaro waddled over, Sungchan practically dragging him there, staring at the fifteen seconds that they had left.

"Ten, nine..." Shotaro skipped a few numbers. "Five... three, two, one..."

He didn't even give Sungchan a chance before he kissed him square on the lips, letting them move together in a half-drunken New Year's kiss. He didn't care very much about whether or not it was a clean kiss, more focused on just getting his lips on Sungchan's and leaving them there for as long as possible.

"Shotaro," Sungchan sing-songed for a second, trying to take a step back. "We shou–"

Well, Shotaro ended up cutting Sungchan's though short. "Kiss, please?"

"You just–'

"Again!"
