Chapter 53: The Avengers Tower

(Queens, New York)

Y/N's P.O.V

So after another hour or so we finally make it back to the Avengers Tower back in New York.

The quinjet lands on the platform outside.

Natasha, Yelena and I help Dr. Cho get Clint to the med bay.

Once we're in the med bay Clint wants a drink, so I leave to go and get some drinks.

When I walk out I bump into the Bruce.

Bruce: So, how's he doing?

Y/N: Well, he's still Barton.

Bruce: That's terrible.

Y/N: I'm kidding. He's fine, he's just thirsty.

When I come back with some drinks I hear Dr. Cho talking.

Dr. Cho: The cradle I have at my lab could do this in twenty minutes.

I walk in and put the drinks down.

Y/N: Oh no, he's flat-lining call it. Time.

Yelena and Natasha giggle at this.

Clint: No no no, I'm gonna live forever. I'm gonna be made of plastic.

Dr. Cho: You'll be made of you Mr. Barton. Your girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference.

Clint: I don't have a girlfriend.

Dr. Cho: That I can't fix.

When Tony comes into the room Dr. Cho looks at him.

Dr. Cho: This is the next big thing Tony. Your metal suits are gonna be left in the dust.

Tony: Well that is exactly the plan. And Helen I expect to see you at the party in a few days, feel free to bring a plus one.

Dr. Cho: Unlike you I don't have alot of time for parties.

She then looks down.

Dr. Cho: Will Thor be there?

Y/N: Ah, looks like she doesn't need a plus one Tony.

He chuckles.

Y/N: Wait, we can bring a plus one?

Tony: Of course.

I then look at Yelena and she goes a little red.

Natasha: So, Y/N. Who'd you have in mind for a plus one?

I smirk.

Y/N: Well, I've got someone in mind.

I quickly look at Yelena.

She smiles at this.

I shake my head.

Y/N: Anyway, I got get back to work.

I quickly walk out of the room.

After that I head back to my room in the tower. I'm currently working on an A.I similar to Jarvis. Tony's been helping me, but I'm on the end of it.

Y/N: Okay, and it's done.

The A.I turns on.

I've decided to name the A.I Gideon. 

Gideon: Hello Mr. L/N.

Y/N: Hey there Gideon. Are all your systems in order?

Gideon: Yes sir. Everything is in working order.

Y/N: Okay, great.

Before anything else could happen I hear a knock at the door.

Y/N: Come in.

The door opens and Natasha walks in.

Y/N: Hey Nat. What's up?

Natasha: Well, I'm wondering what's going on with you and my sister? She won't tell me anything.

Y/N: Well uh...

Natasha: Come on Y/N, I know something happened between you two. Just tell me.

I sigh.

Y/N: Okay. You remember when Yelena came to my place and watched the video that my dad left for me?

She nods.

Natasha: Yeah, you told me about that.

Y/N: Yeah. So, before Yelena left she and I kissed outside my house.

Nat immediately gets excited.

Natasha: Oh my god! No way! That's amazing! It's about time you guys kissed.

Y/N: Whoa, whoa. Calm down.

Natasha: But wait, what happened? Why aren't you two dating then?

Y/N: I don't know. We just haven't spoken about the kiss since. Everytime I try and talk about it with her something comes up to get in the way.

Natasha: Right. Well, at the party you should talk about it with her. If you want to be with her, then tell her that. You both deserve to be happy. Oh and you should know she's had a crush on you since pretty much the moment she met you.

I nod.

Y/N: Thanks Nat. I will. Or I'll try to.

She smiles.

Natasha: Good. Well, I better go. Yelena and I need to buy a new dress for this party. See ya.

Y/N: Bye. Have fun.

Natasha: Oh I will.

I chuckle as she leaves the room.

Whilst I continue to work on other things, I start to think about Yelena and telling her how I feel, and I start thinking about the right way to say it all.
