Todoroki POV

"It's okay. I'm not leaving until you've calmed down"

"This is all your fault in the first place"
I sob, pressing my face into his chest. I'm Talking about how him taking away the blades is stressing me out and somehow, he understands what exactly I'm talking about.

"Yes...I know. But I'm not gonna let you do that again."
He says in a calm and soothing voice.
Suddenly he picks me up and goes over to my bed. He sits down, leaning against the wall and me on his lap.

"I hate you! Why the fuck do you have to be like that!?"

"Because I don't want you to get hurt"

"Shut up"
I sob, then he hugs me tighter.

"There's no use in running away this time. I'm not letting you go again"
He says

"Okay''
I sob and grab onto his shirt.

He's right. There's no use in trying to run.
But...does this mean...I'm finally not alone anymore?
No. Just because I can't run, doesn't mean he can't.
He's going to leave eventually.

"Why do you always say those stuff? I know I can't run. But you will"
I say and look at him.
He puts a hand on my face and wipes away the tears.

"I won't okay? I'm no coward"
He says and puts his other hand on my face too.

"Promise?"
I put my hand on his.

"Mhm. Promise."
He says.
He moves so close that I can feel his warm breath on my skin. Still clinging to his hoodie and stare into his eyes.
And just before I think we're going to kiss, someone knocks on our door.

"You two okay?"
Someone asks.

In that moment we two realize what was about to happen.
I quickly pull away and he let's go of me.
He goes over to the door, while I lay down.

"What do you want, Kirishima?"
He asks as he opens the door a little.

"Are you two okay? You just ran off"

"We didn't want to be caught fighting again, so we went to the woods, to do it there. Icyhot is in bed because he's pissed about loosing''

"Oh. Okay then"
He says, sounding relieved.

"I'm gonna go shower now. Bye."
Bakugou closes the door again, then looks at me, not sure of what to do now.
Neither of us are.
Almost kissing made the atmosphere really awkward.
I'm not sure if it would've been less awkward if we had actually kissed though.

"Do...you feel better now?"
Bakugou asks hesitantly and walks towards me.

"No. Not really."
I sniffle.

My scars are itching and I can't seem to calm down.
But I can't tell him that.
He sits next to me on the bed.

"Why?"
He asks, but I don't answer.
He pats my head, which for some reason makes the rest of my body relax.

"You know if you want to we can umh...hug or whatever if it would make you feel better, I mean. If you wont make it awkward, I wont either"
He says

I flinch, but nod.
He lays down next to me and lifts his arm a little. When turn around and put my head against his chest, he puts his arm around me.
I can hear his heart beat, it's surprisingly fast, but its sound calms me down a little.

"Why is your heart beating so fast?"
I mumble

"Because we're cuddling. Why else?"

"Are you uncomfortable?"
