Chapter 17: Unexpectedly

(V's POV)

"Down you go... Up you go... Sideways... aaanddd... SLASH" I was quite enjoying myself killing all the zombies in front of me. I punched the zombie who was about to grab my arms and kicked the other on my side at the same time I dodge my next attacker and backflip while hitting its head, force was applied in my every move and that made more zombies flew back because of the impact. I extended my hand and slashed forward again. Killing more zombies in the process. These series of actions never ceased and it never slowed down. I was quick, fast and a lot stronger. So I easily defeated ten, twenty or maybe hundreds of them?.

Tiredness can't be seen in my face.

Eversince I woke up I don't think I ever felt tired before. Not with dealing so many zombies at the same time or even without sleeping. This is really convenient. I won't die easily if I can still fight continously. Ang pinakadisadvantage sa mga tao ay yung stamina talaga nila, and me a monster can have more spare of stamina than normal people.

Ilang minuto na din ang nakalipas simula nang paglalaban ko. Kunti nalang ang natitira sa mga zombies and there were no more zombies inside the shop na hinala kong nandun yung mga tao. I quickly finished off the last zombie and headed straight inside the shop. This shop was a jewelry shop. My face turned cold and expressionless.

"Uhm, it's not what I'm thinking right? They did not come in here only to rob some jewels that doesn't have any more value in this apocalypse, risking their life on the line. No one is stupid like that right?" I scornfully asked myself.

I scanned the surrounding and there I see a door for the staffs room. Nilapitan ko agad ito at tinapat ang tenga ko sa pintuan. I can clearly hear someone crying inside, and some panting sounds. Well I guess we were too late. They already had some casualties. I knocked on the door twice and that I heard some small screams inside. Maybe scared of who was on the other side of the door. I knocked again this time 3 times, when no one answered I knocked again 4 times but this time may sumagot na sa kabila.

"Who the fuck are you? Magsalita ka kung hindi ka isa sa mga changers." boses ng babae ito.

Uhh I think I can't do what you asked of me missy. Also changers? Hmm~ sounds familiar.

Wait nga V, ano ba gagawin mo? Tawagin ko nalang kaya si Kai? No, no, no this people might be dangerous. They might be one of those guys that are corrupted and just plain evil. Considering the fact na gusto nila magnakaw sa isang jewelry shop, hindi sila mabubuting tao. I need to confirm if they are good or bad for myself before ko tawagin si Kai. Still I don't really wanna speak... I sound creepy.

Tumikhim nalang ako bilang sagot.

Natahimik ng ilang segundo sa kabila ng pintuan at narinig ko silang naguusap kung bubuksan ba o hindi. I heard a guy's voice saying na buksan ako nila kaya ilang minutong paghihintay ay nabuksan na rin ako.

Finally, hallelujah. Pwede ba pakidalian ayoko kasi manatili pa dito. Anlansa ng baho nyo.

Ang unang bumungad sa akin ay isang babaeng mataray kung makatingin at parang binagyo ang itsura nito, make up smudge all over its face as black mascara and eyeliner tainted it's eyes down to it's cheeks. Lipstick na parang pinahalik sya sa lupa at ginawang mop dun. Ugh... She looks... horrible. Di pa nga maganda, di rin ata maganda ang loob. So to say I don't like her.

Umiwas nalang ako ng tingin sa walking disaster na kamukha na ni sadako sa harap ko at nasagi ng mata ko ang lalaki na magkasing edad ko lang din, same age with the walking sadako. Tumingin ito straight sa mata ko at nagkatitigan kami ng ilang segundo. His eyes filled with amazement. Wala ata syang balak na magiwas ng tingin kaya ako nalang ang umiwas.
