"What are the authorities doing exactly. Why are they not sending any help?" a loud thud resounded across the closed meeting room. The person who spoke just now is a man in his late fifties. Marami itong kulubot sa mukha at malalaman mo agad na isa ito sa mga may mataas na ranggo sa loob ng militar.
"We've lost contact a few days ago sir but I've already sent my team for this mission. Don't worry they'll definitely bring back the governors... if they still haven't turned." I whispered the last part to avoid annoying the General again. The old man sat down on his chair frustratedly at hinilot ang sintido nito.

I heave a sigh thinking about all the troubles that is piling up.
"Captain, are you okay?" I turned to her and gave her a pokerface.
"You think I'm okay?" sagot ko sa kanyang tanong, it came off as a rude remark but it doesn't matter. Hindi naman kasi ako pinanganak sa mundo para pasayahin ang ibang tao.
"No sir, you look like shit." she blurted without a second thought, not minding my attitude earlier she gave me a worried look. Right, why would I even worry when this girl beside me doesn't even know what sarcasm is.
"You're really~ugghh. Annie you should really learn some sarcasm." I frustratedly reply at nagpatuloy ng maglakad papunta sa kabilang building ng base kung saan nandun ang mas malaki ko pang problema. Thinking of it again nagulo ko nalang ang buhok ko and groaned in annoyance.

Annie Turner, right hand in command, isang babae na mahilig mangmanyak ng iba. Though ako lang naman talaga pinupuntirya sa kamanyakan nya. She's not a bad girl, may sira nga lang sa utak, but still she's a devoted and a trustworthy woman. Kasama ko pala si Annie sa squad ko noon nung training palang namin, and ever since then she had stuck to me like glue never leaving my side.
