Chapter 5: Accident

Alina's Pov

"Ugh, what the hell just happened." I groaned, feeling the pain from my forehead. It was like I was banged to something hard which made me unconscious. Wait. How long was I out, anong nangyari? I only remember Ethan grabbing the steering wheel before I blackened out.

Linibot ko sa paligid ang paningin at wala akong nahanap na Ethan sa tabi ko. NO! ETHAN. Where the heck is that guy? Wha-

Hindi ko pa man matapos ang iniisip ko may narinig na akong mga ingay sa labas ng sasakyan. Now that I look at it mukhang may nagkakagulo sa kabilang kanto, I can see the black smoke and raging fire from the distance.

Seems to me like an accident happened, but thankfully we didn't caught up in it dahil kay Ethan. Though nabangga kami sa pader ng isang building it's much better than being the one on that fire right now. 

I once again look at the car and found that Ethan is really not inside. Did he go outside? 

"Heck, this damn hurts" I held my head and touched something sticky, upon looking nakita kong dugo pala ito. This sucks, now I'm bleeding. 

Lumabas ako sa kotse para hanapin sana si Ethan ng mabangga ako sa isang lalaki na nakasuot ng police uniform. 

"Okay ka lang bata?" he asked worriedly and tried to touch me pero umilag ako agad. Nagtaka ito at lalapitan sana uli ako. 

No! the guns, if they find it now. I'm screwed. Fuck Ethan, where the hell are you?

Nagmadali akong pumasok sa kotse at pinaandar to. The policeman look at me with confusion pero hindi ko na to inabala pa. I drove the car far away from there. I can't let them catch m, not right now. I can't afford to be questioned in the station when I only have little time left. Dagdag pa sa aabalahinin ko si Ethan, kung saan-saang lupalop nagpupunta. 

Did I made a mistake of not telling them? Hindi sila aware sa mangyayari kaya they are not worried. Should I have tell them? No it makes no difference. 

Ahh this is fucking frustrating, hindi ko na alam anong gagawin, I'm starting to blank out at nagpapanic na ang utak ko. First lets calm down for a bit and improvise from here. It's okay, I can save them. I can. 

I was pulled back from my thoughts when I heard the ring from my phone. I look at it and I saw Myla's name on it. I picked it up while still focus on the road, trying to have more distance away from the accident and away from the police. 

"Hello-" 

"V, are you okay? Asan ka na ngayon? Bat anatagal nyo? Nadamay ba kayo sa aksidente? Buhay ka pa ba?" my head started to ache again with all the question Myla asked me. 

"Slow down Myla I'm alive so just calm down, I'm okay and yes I was caught up in the accident but I'm still okay. We're heading where you are right now, is what we were supposed to be doing but I can't find Ethan. I run away before I could find him cause there was a police officer. You know what I mean already right? So just get ready, I'll head there as soon as I find the guy. Is Faith already with you?" 

"Huh? Ahh no bumalik sya sa room nila para kuhanin yung mga gamit nya." nagulat ako ng kunti ng malaman kong hindi pa nila kasama ang kapatid ko. What the hell are they doing, I specifically told them hanapin si Faith but they are letting my sister go back to the school building.

"Get her out of there Myla. NOW!" I hang up the phone after saying those words. It may sound rude to them but I can't help get angry and pissed.
