Ch. 33 - THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH

"The Emissaries are Druids, right?" He asked her and she nodded "So what if the Darach was an Emissary to the Alphas?" He said, "First of all, I can't believe we've gotten to the point where a sentence like "what if the Darach was an Emissary to the Alphas" actually makes sense to me. Second, there's a huge problem with getting to Ethan." Stiles said. "What's that?" Scott asked.

"Going through Aiden." Azalea answered and Stiles nodded, "Since he's been back in school they're always together. How are we supposed to separate them again?" Stiles says and the three if them thought for a moment. Then all three of them turn to look at Lydia sitting behind them, she glances up from her drawing, sighing.

"What now?"

While other students drift through the hall below, Scott, Azalea and Stiles corner Ethan in the stairwell. Scott stood in front of Ethan while Azalea stood back with Stiles, who leaned against the wall with slightly angry face. "You want to know about Emissaries?" Ethan asked looking at Scott weird, "We want to know about your Emissaries." Scott said.

"Why are you even talking to me? I helped kill your friend. How do you know I'm not going to kill another one?" Ethan said glancing over at Stiles, who noticed and stood up glaring at Ethan.

"Is he looking at me? You threatening me? You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to break off an extra large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane, roll it in mistletoe and shove it right up your freaking-" Stiles threatened as he walked forward making Azalea grab his arm and pull him back a bit as she chuckled.

"Stiles, I'm proud but I think we get it." Azalea said before Scott turned back to Ethan, "We're talking to you because I know you didn't want to kill Boyd. And I think if something like that happened now, you wouldn't do it again." He said. "You don't know what we owe them. Especially Deucalion." Ethan said making them all look at him confused, "What's that mean?" Azalea asked and Ethan glanced at her. "We weren't like Kali and Ennis when we met him. We weren't Alphas."

"What were you?" Scott asked and Azalea gasped in amusement as she walked up, "You two were Omegas weren't you?" She said and Ethan nodded and sighed. "In actual wolf packs the Omega's the scapegoat, the last to eat, the one who has to take the abuse from the rest of the pack. That was us." He explained and Azalea laughed while Stiles raised his eyebrows. "So, you and your brother were the bitches of the pack." Stiles says and Ethan nodded, "Something like that."

"What happened?"

"They were killers. I mean, people talk about us as monsters. Well, they were the ones who gave us the reputation. And our Alpha was the worst of them" Ethan explained and Stiles nodded slightly. "Why didn't you just fight back? Form Voltron Wolf and kick all their asses?" Stiles asked and Ethan shook his head.

"We couldn't. We didn't know how to control it back then."

"Deucalion taught you." Azalea said and he nodded, "And then we fought. We took on the whole pack, one-by-one. By the time we got to our Alpha, he was begging for his life. We tore him apart. Literally." He said and Azalea hummed and nodded slightly. "Sounds fun." She said and Scott nudged her slightly.

"What about your Emissary?" Scott asks and Ethan shakes his head with regret. "Then they're all dead? Kali and Ennis's too?" Scott asked and Ethan nodded, "All except for Deucalion's." He said and Stiles raised his eyebrows. "You mean Morrell?" Stiles asked but before he can confirm it, Ethan flinches. A look of pain on his face, his hand moves to his chest. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

"Not me. My brother."

Cora whips her claws back, blood at Aiden's chest where she's slashed him. But the twin looks up with a furious glare, barely fazed. She tries to step in for another attack, but he moves too fast. Hands latching onto her, Aiden lifts Cora off her feet and flings her across the room.
